Mondeo - 1992 

I still have this video in VHS format. The Ford dealer gave a copy to my father as part of the negociating process to convince him to buy the car. Finally he bought a Mondeo. A 5 door in satin red. Clx 1.8 turbo diesel. Not so fast, not so refined engine. It was already a dated engine. But it worked well. The rest of the car was top notch. Very modern, reliable, good quality, good safety for it´s time, and very good handling. Probably the best family car we had. Good memories.

Ford Mondeo was a legendary model It was a great upper segment car. It was very popular even in Turkey. It is really sad that its production has ended.

I loved my mk1 mondeo. to me it was the first properly modern car that I'd ever owed, even as a 6 year old ex taxi with 180k on it

Production of the Ford Mondeo came to an end in Europe in March 2022

I don't recall ever seeing a hole for the speaker in the rear shelf, but I've owned a 1998 mk2, maybe there was no such option for it 🤔
