This video has been created for those who are learning Japanese language.
In this video, almost all of kanji in the Japanese subtitles are given furigana.
So it's perfect for people who are not good at kanji.
You can also learn Japanese that are actually used.
Let's listen to real Japanese that is not in ordinary Japanese textbooks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm paying a lot of attention to Japanese subtitles. But I'm not good at writing English, so there may be some mistakes in English subtitles.
Please consider English subtitles to be your help only if you don't understand my Japanese.
The choice of location and time to talk about the Emperor of Japan is just genius. Incommensurability (通約不可能?) of it all just blew my mind.
Interesting, it is totally different from how we view the king in Sweden. Many people would joke about him or the monarchy (in a positive or sarcastic way). However, we still support the monarchy and the royal family. It is like in Japan, that the king of Sweden is the symbol of Sweden and its people. Thank you for these conversations, it really helps with learning Japanese!
Ciao Yusuke-san, thanks for your explanation. It is interesting, from the first time I went to Japan, I felt it was not a good idea to talk unrespectfully about the Emperor of Japan. Nobody told me, I just felt it. In general I avoid talking about the Emperor of Japan in public, I do it only with my wife. Anyways, I don't have any reasons to criticize the Emperor. Hey I never walked in this area of Tokyo, it looks nice! Really it is not safe? Maybe some drunk people walking around? I'll ask my wife why she didn't bring me there.
Ciao Leonardo😊 You sensed something in the atmosphere. To criticize the Japan's emperor in Japan, it would be similar to criticizing Juventus in Turin. 😁haha! <Some drunk people walking around. Yes. 4:45 I saw a japanese having a PP mocking the emperor with a montage on Steam... but never saw more than that. (it was 昭和天皇) it was not very rude but not respectfully either... was weird to see this. As a France criticizing the president or the king is something common, going into darker place like implying to kill the president by cutting his head etc (but can have repercussion if it's a menace)... so there's a fine line between anarchy of thoughts like France USA etc and constructivism... like you said the emperor has just a symbolic function and is the seal of the history of Japan... it's not like western countries where they changed a lot of their president... UK people doesn't criticize the queen that much, they can make comedy tho, but it's rare to see those skits insulting the queen. So you don't really need it since you can speak up already, but criticize against emperor is pointless effort (since you said it, he's just an ambassador) and in a way insulting also the history and the image of millenear Japan... Speaking like that about emperor or any person = 理由もなく攻撃 or something like that. It's my feeling as a French. In Japan, I bet the prime Minister is more criticized since he's the person who take this role of "changing president" like in the Western World. 7:56 purée les Ricains qui crient ils sont insupportables.
@Slewenski
@Slewenski 2 года назад
I find it ironic that the sound and mic is acting up just when you are trying to say that there is more need for freedom of speech XD anyway that was very interssting. I rarely hear anything about the Emperor (admittedly i rarely look it up) so it was cool to get a bit of insight. I knew of the general idea that the Emperor stands for Japan and it's people. I guess it makes sense that thus people might also see his word as sort of given or jokes as an insult...I see... I remeber once reading that princess Toshi got bullied in school and felt so bad for her on top of all this debate of the heir having to be male. I wonder how the whole bullying thing fits into the notion of respect to the royal family and the emperor representing Japan. Of course she was not the empress (and I suppose never will be) so maybe it is not treated with the same importance as insulting the Tenno. Or maybe nobody cared because she is just a girl. But that is a painful thought...I think I will have to google now if there were any consequences other than HER having to leave (you'd think it's the culprits that have to leave but yeah...that's not the sort of world we are living in.
@moshimoshi.yusuke
@moshimoshi.yusuke 2 года назад
Unfortunately, bullying exists even among tropical fish in aquariums, that's very sad... If the children who bullied her or the parents of those children are identified and the public knows who they are, they're dangerous enough that they could be attacked in some way by someone. Crimes like pickpocketing are rare there. If you're just drinking around in that city, there's little danger. But sometimes fights between young people on the street. Kabukicho is home to many yakuza strongholds. Yakuza means the Japanese mafia. In addition to that, the Chinese mafia is also in that city these days. So There're drug dealing and blackmailing at night. But very safe during the day.
@Slewenski
@Slewenski 2 года назад
@@moshimoshi.yusuke thank you for your answer. I see how it can be dangerous. It might be ok, but accidentally ending up in a gang fight would also be scary. Since a lot of public transport didn't go thought the night i usually saw to it that I was back in the hotel on time. A lot of places i agree it at also closed early. So I'm still rather curious about the nightlife.
