The Glenn Miller Orchestra Scandinavia should be on a national tour in the United States annually. With the first and the last performance at the White House.

Incredible performance of my favorite song. I have listened to literally hundreds of recordings of this song and this might be the best I have ever heard.
Good to hear that they spiced up the tempo, and that the solos are improvised (and, slight detail, listen to the bones harmonising in the ride out; Miller later did that too).
The clarinet/reed blend on "Moonlight Serenade" perfectly smokes the currently led Nick Hlisher Glenn Miller Orchestra in the states. While Nick pulls a lot of seldom-played charts out and dusts them off, the reed section in the current US GMO sounds so sloppy it hurts. I have been collecting Miller's music for nearly 40 years and have everything recorded by the original, the post-war GMO led by Tex Beneke, then the one led by Ray McKinley, and all of the others. I've seen many of them in person. I only wish Nick would dust off some of their recordings and play them, then sit in front of his reed section today. Thanks for uploading this version of the Scandanavian GMO-- they're great.
