FDNY engine 59 and ladder 30 (spare) responding urgently out of the fire house to a fire call in Harlem taking the wrong way. Some firefighters desperately try to make move cars coming into the street.

I had the privilege of Mesquite barbecuing for the men of engine 59 ladder 30 multiple times. Although I wasn't a buff I was told to make the runs!😁

@@zohan112 No. The flag is an institution, and rallying standard. A lot of these fire fighters are former navy men or other military veterans. It's a comforting sight to them and to give them a reason to carry on doing what they need to be doing no matter how bad it gets. It's as important to them as a church having a cross at the alter or the golden six sided rose affixed to the fronts of every Tokyo Fire Department fire truck.

It is. It's the old Ladder 49. It still has the New York Yankees pinstripes, but the 49 and the Yankees NY logo are removed

New FDNY trucks aren't equipped with them, but some companies install them after taking delivery of a new rig. "Management" seems to be ok with them doing so.

They put the yellow stripe on the firehouse driveway and across the street for a reason the fire trucks need a lot of room to pull in and out of the fire house so please respect and obey the yellow line don’t park or block the fire house at all times please and thank you. Stay Safe 👮🏻‍♂️🚔🚒🚨

Slow to get out and very strange that the firefighters have to stop the traffic in order to get out of the fire station. Here in New Zealand they put traffic lights outside the fire stations and cross hatch the road with yellow no stopping lines: when the fire truck is ready to exit the traffic lights turn red and the traffic stops clear of the yellow lines with no issues at all.

@@miketuohy669 Hi Mike. Not been to Harlem but have spent quite a bit of time in the southern States with family (Arkansas, Tennessee, Oaklahoma, Texas, Missouri). You should come to New Zealand for a visit: we're super friendly people, we speak your language and your USA dollar goes a looooong way here. Great climate; come February to April for the best weather (fits right in with your worst weather). Cheers.

I was once asked how long does it take for a fire engine to turn out. Great Britain =...avg 28 seconds. USA = avg... less than one week.

Firefighters being firefighters!!!!!!!!! We awesome and even though your following the law, we need to let everyone know where we are going we are risking our lives so move scum bag over dramatic civil servant......what a shame. By the way did this job 20 years in Houston Fire, most spent at 68s and 33.....good day. Young breed of FF is still way too over exaggerated!!!!!!
