i had a 2 level lumbar disc replacement in germany in 2008. Best thing I ever did. No pain and do anything I want with no restrictions. This guy's procedure doesn't stop the degeneration of the disc and DDD will continue with other levels.

We recognize you as a "sales person" for artificial disc surgeons. Artificial disc patients have horrific complications from the artificial disc surgery, even when done in Germany. Deuk Laser Disc Repair naturally repairs injured discs and the patients body heals their own disc without dangerous spine surgery.

You are full of shit. I am for real and had my discs put in by doctor Ritter-Lang in Stenum, Germany. I had L3- L5 with the Maverick Disc in 2008. Best thing I ever did. 16 years later and ZERO complications. You don't do anything to ",fix" a disc. It will only get worse. I know many people who have gone to Ritter-Lang and are glad they did.

Dr. Deuk, I’m binge watching these videos on your channel in awe of both your empathy, expertise, and subtle humor. I hope to become like you after I graduate college and get on my way to medical school, except to go into psychiatry! Thank you for being a great spine surgeon for your patients and an inspiration to those watching the channel!

It's a big surgery with risks to match. Conservative options need to be exhausted before considering it. But it can be excellent in some cases.
@brittjuergens2660
@brittjuergens2660 3 месяца назад
Don’t make your decision solely based on this guys videos. These are sales videos. Think about it. Artificial discs can be incredibly successful, just as endo surgical options can as well. Instead of making decisions based on RU-vid videos, find a good surgeon that will do every conservative option available for you before considering fusion or artificial disc. But when you need a fusion and there are no other options, you’re gonna need it.

I'm being told that I have "minor" DDD and "minor" bulging of L4 L5 S1 disks and "minor" Spinal stenosis. All minor and no where near needing surgery. Well, good. I don't want a surgery either. But, why is it that after spending a day and half in the emergency room 12 days of hospital rehab, Two months of physical therapy, I'm still have pain? weak legs? I am so lost. They keep saying it's nothing. Just so lost. Also, what is the cost for laser surgery? is it something you can have health insurance to pay for?

I had a 2 level replacement in 2006, and it was the Best decision I ever made. I’ve been pain free since then, and off all pain meds since. I was told by 4 other spine surgeons that I needed fusions. Please research your doctor and the options.

I’ve been fine since 2006 and haven’t had 1 issue. Best thing I ever did. Friends and coworkers with similar injuries that had fusions and can hardly walk. And now need more surgery because the disc above deteriorating. I’ve also had multiple other treatments to repair the disc before surgery, all of them did nothing.

We need to take away life altering decisions away from insurance companies and have a panel of the most experienced surgeons say what is covered because they know what works , seems insane to me that some individuals working for the insurance companies are the deciding factors in people’s lives , laser needs to be covered by Medicare , it would save money long term when patients get better, recovery = no more expensive treatments that aren’t working

T-Totally unnecessary O-OMG these companies make a lot of money whenever a patient gets this device P-Perhaps I should have had Deuk Laser Disc Repair instead S-Scar tissue everywhere We never perform the "TOPS" procedure because in our experience it doesnt work and it is unnecessary. I live in DC metro area. My spine surgeon is Dr Cory Wallach at the Anderson Orthopedic Clinic. Have you heard of this group? I’ve had 2 fusions at L3/L4 and L4/L5. Just had an MRI showing L1/L2 and L5/S1 to be herniated. I’m in terrible pain. I don’t know what to do? Do you think your laser procedure could help? I’m 67, a lifelong , full time martial artist with a full time school for 35 years. I can’t even stand for 2 classes because my pain is so bad. I can send my MRI for you to examine. Please get back to me. Dr Wallach will do fusions, but I’m so tired of surgeries. (I’ve also had a hip replacement and both knees replaced, and my big toe rebuilt-another story). Do you think fusions are my only choice? This is complicated, I know, but I’m willing to try anything to relieve my pain and continue to practice and teach my art, Taekwondo-Do.

So how does your laser fix a disc that’s bone on bone? I’m a lumbar adr patient L5S/1 that’s doing absolutely great I was informed before surgery 80% of patients are happy with the outcome so unfortunately there is 200 unhappy patients per 1000 surgeries thankfully I’m not one of them I was prepared to take that risk and don’t regret it a single bit I’ve got my life back but I feel so sad for unlucky outcomes god bless 🙏

@@aradeukmedjian5957 so your outcome data is posts from patients? How about we look up some of your patients responses. Every Dr is going to have some folks that aren’t happy with the results.
