I'm sure you won't see this comment but if you do you should put First Gen 5.9L Cummins injectors in it. I had a 2003 TDI ALH with those injectors and it was insane. The spray angle and everything is almost exactly the same and the stock motor, pump, turbo, and clutch can handle it fine. I had about 20000 miles on mine before the death of it when I tried to fit an HX-35 turbo to it and couldn't fix an oil leak. The injectors were amazing. You will see about 30 psi sustained out of the stock Garrett and the car will be so freaking fast. It's night and day difference. With the injectors alone my car ran a 14 sec 1/4 mile which is slow for most things but a stock TDi runs about a 23 second 1/4. Fuel mileage will drop to about 20 though lol and you gotta watch EGT's but that combination will smoke out an entire highway (I have done so I know) on a full throttle pull. I have videos if you guys want to see. I don't have too many though unfortunately

It's cheaper with a pre TDI diesel. Replace the plunger in the pump and turn a few screws and gain ~20 hp.

Correction: More fuel + more air = more power. Smoke = wasted power. If you have either too much fuel or too much air, its wasted power. A clean, fast diesel will smoke before spooling and then will clean up once it gets into boost.

For Brandon, 2 things to keep an eye on with the evry mod. First is boost (he has a gauge so it should be easy enough to see if it spikes) but the other thing is EGT (exhaust gas temp) when you dump more fuel it increases the amount of heat by quite a bit and there is the possibility of melting pistons and/or melting the turbo if he is WOT for an extended period of time (like up an incline or 0-100 pulls for example). Keep us posted on how it turns out long run and keep up the awesome videos!

I got a MK4 Golf GTi VR6, Unitronic Stage 2, Audi 4.2L MAF and Housing, Ram Air Intake, Port and Polished Head, Stage 2 Sachs street clutch, and 7lb Custom machined flywheel, Megan Racing short shifter, Lowered on Solowerks Coilovers, bbs 16in rims, OEM roof rack, S-line TT front and rear calipers, full 2.5" catless headers back exhaust to a borla xr-1 sportsman muffler. Dynoed at 240whp on 91 octane in Vegas, but it is tuned for 93 from when i lived in Michigan. So probably around 5-7 more whp on the right gas. Hit me up if you guys wanna drive it. Around 34k on the new motor and build.

In Portugal we have 1.9 TDi PD130 making 400+hp. Unfortunately, the diesel in the US it isn´t as good as here. If it was better you started liking TDi.

I strongly do not recommend this mod on these vw tdi, this mod is great on trucks and other diesel engines but these vw have very small turbos as well as intercooler and when you add more unburnt gas that recycles through your egr system which increases the temperature majorly because it injects it directly back into your intake manifold. there is so many better ways to get more fuel into these engines because there is some serious hidden power in these alh tdi engines. best thing you got going for you is that exhaust mod. but I'd recommend not wasting your time or 9 dollars because on the end it can potentially cost you 1000 dollars for your new fuel pump. it's more stress on that rotary fuel pump by doing this.

It's revving faster because the extra power is making the transmission slip. Similar to a worn out clutch it can't handle the power. I had the exact same car but with a 5 speed manual. I got a tune before a new clutch and the clutch would slip from day 1. I wouldn't run the car like that often it's going to roast the transmission.
