Here's a little something I bet that Did You Know Gaming didn't know. In the opening scene in Mortal Kombat Armageddon when Zombie Liu Kang is fighting Shang Tsung, Liu Kang does the same roar that the Zombie dog does in the first Resident Evil movie when Alice first encounters one.
I must be weird then because when I first saw Riko's ending & abilities, I assumed that he was a secret child of Shao Khan. I always liked my idea because it was a way for their to be a new creative villain, while expanding the mythos. After Shinnok they could of had Riko "Ryse" into power, Son of Rome style.

It was actually Stryker that was meant to be in the original MK game, not Jax. But they replaced him with Sonya because of how popular Chun Li was. Jax was put in for diversity in MK II.

Man, every time I feel like I can take a break from my Mortal Kombat cravings, I watch something like this, and wanna play it again. Mortal Kombat is the only game franchise that I'm ALWAYS in the mood for.
Raiden & Shang Tsung are based off characters from the movie Big Trouble In Little China. Shang Tsung is Lo Pan & Raiden is Lightning (at least I think his name was that) . Also a guy blows himself up by getting bigger, probably inspired Katana's fatality.
This was a great episode! Mostly because I didn't already know any of these facts before hand, unlike some of the other Did you know gaming videos, where I at least know some of the facts or most of them.
Another cool fact is in the PS3/PS Vita version of Mortal Kombat 9/2011. When you use certain Fatalities on Kratos he will usually have an angry or fearsome look, instead of the worry-some or fearful looks other characters have. An example of this is when Freddy throws him into the boiler in his fatality, Kratos tries to pull him in instead of screaming. Also in Ermac's where he grows big, he yells at Ermac instead of panicking. From what I heard Sony didn't want to mess with his brutal nature.

Very good video. When I was younger I never noticed the backwards audio. Yet, when the first clip was shown and you mentioned a "gargled" language I could immediately tell it was just English backwards. It's crazy.
I love how you guys manage to fuck up pronouncing names, easily. Even the in-game character said, "RAY-KO", and you managed to say, "RRR-EYE-KO". Do you purposely butcher names??? Why not tell the audience, better things like how the Arcade Version of MK I had actually said, ' fatality' when it happened, and the SNES version didn't, or the ominous laugh that plays in the arcade version with the opposing players life reaches critical. Why haven't you mentioned a damn thing about MK Trilogy. I should have made this video.

Did you know, Freddie Krugger from Mortal Kombat (2011) was voiced by the fourth voice actor of Dracula from the Castlevania series. Patrick Seitz not only voiced Freddy Krugger, but also Scorpion from the same game and Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe.
Which is exactly what I learnt through watching this Video as well as stating that I found it "neat" how the origin of the name "Noob" came about for Noob Saibot.
The backwards messages just reminded me of Red Dwarf. Though to be honest few tricks like that weren't used in Red Dwarf so many many things remind me of it!
