Most Common Exercise Mistakes | Upper Body Exercise Edition If you're doing exercises wrong, your risk of injury goes up and your results go down! No one wants that. For these upper body exercises for home or gym, here are the ways to fix the exercise for correct exercise technique:
Instead of using momentum- Slow down and pause at the top (reduce weight)
Instead of arching and rocking - stabilize (or reduce weight so you can)
Instead of standing, try seated until you have good form
Instead of wide elbows on an overhead press- bring them in close
Instead of dropping elbows below the bench on a chest press, stop even with the bench/your back
Instead of flexing and extending the elbows in an bent arm pullover, move only from the shoulder
