Dani, Ryan, and Anthony are some of the best artists ink master has ever had. The fact that they'd only been tattooing for a few years before their respective seasons is incredibly impressive. They were born to do this

The fact that dani was one vote away from winning with only three years experience is so impressive. And Ryan and Anthony are both such amazing artists for only having a few years experience, I cant even imagine how much they have and will continue to grow as artists as the years go on. Im just so blown away by all three of them

Christian being so supportive of Angel even though he knows she doesn't have the most experience, it was nice to see her get the support she probably needed in that moment

Funny that Anthony, Angel & Ryan are one of the most unexperienced artists, but also my most favourite.

Angel's tattoo WAS a sunken ship... So the small sharks in the distance make sense for dimension... But as for nature, it should have really stressed how the ship was trapped beneath the ocean somehow... More rocks, a big hole in the ship with a shark or something coming out to fight the octupus... Maybe an electric eel and corals and some bubbles going up...

I can understand Angel, it really wasn't a bad tattoo maybe she did intuitively do something she felt would stick to the criteria being inexperienced would help her. The tattoo may not have a lot of depth and perception but at least it wont be something somebody will feel bad for and later in the future can get it touched up.

I grew up in the same town Laura did, I've known her my whole life pretty much. Not personally, but just that she was another artist in the area, and one that I looked up to myself as an artist. She absolutely deserved to win Ink Master, but that biomech tattoo that Dani did for the finale just blew me away. I can't stop staring at it!

Honestly you take the internet and all the information that's out there add in someone who's driven and hard working, it's a recipe for success. Always have respect for the legends of the business who paved the way but you can't ever count out someone who is new. So many new talented artists are emerging these days. This industry is headed in a great direction!

It truly goes to show that sometimes time learning doesn’t always equate to skill and craftsmanship. Some of these 15+ year tattoo artist veterans had some dodgier work than these novices of 3-5 years of experience. Some people are just born with a natural talent and just need to hone in on their specialty. I wish I was born with a talent of that caliber.

Am I just crazy or what? Because I 100% understood Angel's Octopus tattoo immediately. Maybe add a few bubbles floating around, but other than that, I thought it was pretty obvious. And it was much better than that wolf tattoo. Also, as an artist myself. Foreground and backround isn't just plopping scenery in the back or having stuff up close. It's about creating that illusion of depth. Angel's had depth. That wolf one looked like stickers put on top of each other.

Some of these men are just so misogynistic, they are just so blatantly misogynistic. Not just in this video, in all the seasons of the show, especially the males vs females season. Some of these guys just get so butthurt about being beaten by a woman and can't accept the fact that some woman are better than them.

I liked Angel's design. Sure, it could have been technically better done and the idea could have been a bit clearer, but the important part I think is that she could have fixed it with a couple more hours. It was a case of "not quite enough" which is better than "too much."

It makes sense if someone is an artist and has been doing ART for over a decade, learning how to apply that to tattooing wouldn't be that long to do. It takes at least a decade to be as good an artist as Ryan though, so she 1000% was practicing it long before she learned to tattoo.

I love the intimacy of tattoo but a lot of the artists just eat each other alive. I'd rather do fingerpaintings than deal with this unkind shit.

Ryan was always my favorite. I loved her, Nikki Simpson and Kim Doty. I loved their show Ink Master Angels. I wish they would bring Ink Master, Ink Master Angels and Tattoo Nightmares with Tommy Helm back!!

The images shown in the first girl's portfolio showed a lot of issues with symmetry and consistency. The circle around the hummingbird, the edges of the flower/mandela-like image. She showed promise, but also displayed the lack of experience. Her octopus was pretty, but putting a ship behind it doesn't constitute as a background or a nature scene. I get why she put the tiny sharks above it, she was trying to go for a "sunken ship" idea, but it didn't translate well and looked like an octopus infront of a shadow of a ship with flying sharks. She needed more water in the scene, more depth added to slam home the idea that it was under water rather than separate elements thrown together.

I didn't get to watch all the seasons, but I did get to see the full season Anthony was on. And man he is so talented. He seemed to thrive in so many different styles. I was rooting for him the whole time. I was so happy he won! The only thing that bummed me out was that he's in AZ and I'm in Miami so I wouldn't be able to get a tat done by him anytime soon if at all.

Miss this show! All these highlight and compilation videos are holding me over 😊
