Well, that was happens when you write a player of at only f***ing 20. How many word class players struggled at the same age before? many. He just don't what he's talking about.
He's not saying that he's a done flop per say but basing on how big his hype was at the time, he was expected to be playing in the top leagues already by now. Like how Mbappe is playing top flight scoring regularly at 20yrs old. That's the career trajectory that was expected of odegaard also
@@milokelly4971 yeah the L O effing L was something id expect from a 12 year old girl or a 50 year old white englishman who owns a burger van posting what he thinks are memes on facebook
@@tomasnunes4831 Benfica has the best academy in Portugal... Look at Gedson, João Félix, Florentino Luís, Umaro Embaló, Ruben Dias, Ferro, Ederson, Nelson Semedo, João Cancelo, Bernardo Silva and Eusébio.
21 games 2 goals 4 assists is below ok for a guy whos played as a winger all season. Even in stats comparing him to Inaki Williams, less shots per games, terrible aerial statistics and when I say terrible I mean terrible, the only thing he really brings is a decent amount of dribbles a game and even then he gets dispossessed over 2 times a game. You're either a deluded Sociedad fan or just bsing for likes dont know why anyones liked this
In his first spell at QPR, Ravel Morrison was the one reason why we made the playoffs, due to Charlie Austin's injury he carried us for the 2nd half of the season
@@duerphykat8809 He ended the season in the eredivise with 19 goal contributions in 31 games. Thats actually pretty good. Then again he has 9 in 23 this season in la Liga...
A player with supreme skill, and pitiful work-rate. Factor in his appalling attitude, and you've got someone who's destined to waste his career. A real shame.
@David Clinging Well i assure you guys that the top Brazilian teams are better than the Dutch teams, except for Ajax that this year is with a hell of a good squad.
For the 19 years old you should have gone with Hachim Mastour, the boy was labeled the next big thing 6 years ago and had all the major sponsors on his feet but now plays for PAS Lamia
Hey Irish Guy, I love your content and hope you keep out pumping these great videos, I was just thinking, I remembered that Ashley Barnes is eligible to play for Austria disputes being born in Bath, this made me thinking a little bit deeper and remember that forgotten FIFA wonder kid Alexander Merkel has played twice for Kazakhstan despite being born in Germany, this made me reach deep into my hipster football brain and reach out a player from my FIFA days; Sergio Escuerdo, who was born in Granada, Spain to Argentinian ancestry but has decided to play for Japan, and has managed to do so 5 times (for the U-23s). I was wondering if you guys could do a top 7/10/11 or something of the sort of players who where born in one country, but have decided to play for a culturally much different from their own, thank you and keep up the amazing work
For 40 maybe Claudio Pizarro? Idk of course he won the Champions League and a lot of Titles with Bayern but at the begin of the 2000's he was determined to be one of the best strikers of his generation
@@JoseFranco9 He is 6th all time Bundesliga scorer (which is quite impressive dont get me wrong) but in over 20 years of nearly just playing in the Bundesliga I think this is to except from a good striker. But around 2000 he was (at least here in Germany) called to have the same amount of talent as Raul
Odegaard is a good player who’s made the wrong choice. He should of went somewhere to be given a chance. He was hyped when bought but isn’t overhyped anymore.
To be fair to Odegaard, he's had a great season for Vitesse, and he's been improving steadily since he was loaned out from playing for Real Madrid's Castilla. He's distinguished himself in the dutch league, and is still young enough that his career can go anywhere. I think we'll be able to make a rough estimation of where his future lies over the next 2-3 years.
@@owendyer8370 he played in a team that had no movement no one was making runs no one was doing anything. He needs to play with a team with fast pace or really good defence
1:56 that was definitely the best joke I’ve ever heard For those of you who don’t understand Neverland ranch is where Michael Jackson did stuff to kids
It’s fine laughing about their careers now but when you think about it no one can predict the future you can only hope for the best that the player reaches his potential based on what you have seen of the player at the time
Maybe Ødegaard was a bit overhyped at 15-16 years old, but he’s still a great talent. He’s still only 20 years old and has 7 goals and 6 assists so far in the dutch league and cup. He has also created more chances than any other player in the dutch eredivise (which includes players like Hakim Ziyech). Real Madrid still believe he will be good enough for their first team, and recently he has become a starter in the norwegian national team as well.
