4% including mobile users: On a chart excluding them, Firefox would have about 9-10%. Also, the number of people having an Internet connection (and therefore using a browser) has risen.
@@valt1337 The thing is, if you look at the dataset used (which is in the description) you won't find brave anywhere. There wasn't any data about Brave in the dataset.
You cant really track Tor usage because the browser was build around the principle of being able to conceal the users, enabling black market like Silk Road, a closed down website (search the story, FBI is truly insane) were you could buy illegals drugs. There are only estimation, between 500 000 and 3 000 000 per day
My favorite is Firefox on a PC for its look, themes, apps and its smooth transition (to my eyes) when opening a new tab. For different reasons over the years, I had to use nearly all of them, though, after the Internet Explorer Era. By the way, can you play the music in half speed, so the double speed of the video will work just fine for me? Thank you for the stats! Great work!
June, 2004: Windows Internet Explorer: "Ha, I have you now, Netscape. The whole internet will soon be mine!" Netscape: "Strike me down, and I will be come more powerful than you have ever imagined!"
There are some issues with the video like didn't safari & firefox came out earlier than what the graph shows? Where's tim burner Lee's browser the 1st ever browser?? Overall nice video dude
@@marissathegamer1600 the new version of Edge is fast I admit it. firefox still hold in my opinion the most secure, non-tracking, non-consuming resourses browser on the web so far. that's what matters to me nowadays.
I first touched the browser, mozilla Firefox since 2008, Likewise with opera, Safari and Flock Starting in 2017, I am using the Google Chrome browser until now because it has a translation feature
Would have thought for sure Microsoft Edge (with the new logo) would have more popularity, but it isn't even shown here, It look a LOT like chrome in my opinion, and is soooo much faster!
Mosaic (hope I spelt it right): Wait what happened Netscape: I am Death. Internet Explorer: Not if I have to say anything about it! Firefox: hi guys whatchu doin? Chrome: shut up firefox nobody cares Safari: Chrome, IE, anyone? Opera: Okay, let's do this. We can do it! I CAN DO IT! I CAN DO IT: Edge: I dont understand like what?

First half of the video the sum of the graphs is not 100%. Sometimes not even close and for me it's hard to believe explorer has only 1.4% today. If you dont download stuff it's still the starter thing already on the computer.
