No competition tbf. Petra and Mans are probably the best ESC presenters ever.

For sure. I never really cared for presenters, but since Mans and Petra hosted last year I want them over and over again.

Reason why it's the best is because Sweden loves Eurovision, the devotion towards it is incredible.

I loooooove Petra's face when the audience started chanting her name with hardly any cue, it looks like she didn't expect it but people genuinely love her xD I'm one of them!

I know people don't want Sweden to win again anytime soon but it's a fact that when it comes to the organisation Swedes are matchless. You can tell that this country loves the contest and knows its audience well.

The fact that Petra managed to host all of Eurovision on her own in 2013 and still be one of the best was impressive enough. Then Måns came along and they became the best presenter duo Eurovision has ever seen (at least in modern time) is just legendary. Whether you’re tired of Sweden winning or not, you have to admit that they know how to host Eurovision.

Petra knows that she has to entertain the audience and not just give results and introduce interval acts. With Petra, you get a show with the Contest. Plus, her comedy is global, not Euro-centric. I got her jokes and I live in America.

The genius behind it all is Edward af Sillén, the script writer AND song writer for that Peace, Love song. He's done a lot of great Melodifestivalen scripts as well.

The reason they won: Comedy is perfectly timed, the puns fall correctly. and to be fair the teaming of both petra and mans was just perfect.

It should be a mandatory rule that måns and Petra host every year but have to put on an accent from the hosting country

2016 hosting is not just your typical reading on cue making lame jokes and boring to watch hosting, this is pure entertainment! Bravo Måns and Petra! I also love 2011!

I don't even know what song Sweden will send next year, but I'll vote for them just because ESC will be back in 2018 in Sweden and we could see Mans and Petra once again. And I'm not even joking.

I used to be pissed off with the feeling that some juries usually favor Sweden too much. In the past 5 years i love that they do it, so that Petra and Mans have better chances to host again! Swedish 2021 entry deserved more from the televote imo btw.

Does anyone recall one of her first jokes earlier in the show when kicking the whole thing off? The theme of the show was coming together, hence her joke "So everyone grab your rags and let's all come together!" i literally did a spit-take! Hilarious.

Honestly this year's Eurovision was the only good thing about 2016. I think we should scrap tradition and have Måns and Petra be the official Eurovision hosts.

For sure the best hosts in Eurovision history. Simply incredible. I miss one of the best moments which was the announcement of the "Grey People". Petra and Mans not only were enormously funny and more than up to the task but they also managed to find the right tone when it came to the moments where fun was not appropriate. Can't they be the hosts every year from now on?

As a swede I’m surprised that not every country has ppl like Måns and Petra. Here in Sweden they are just two of many that are good enough to present Eurovision...

I'm french and seriously Petra and Måns were billions of km far from any other presenters of Eurovision. I think they kicked this competition to a new start. Even after the controversy about Måns with homosexuality, I can recognize he hosted the Eurovision like a king, seriously. I watch Petra in the BBC for the 2015 Eurovision greatest hits and God she can speak foreign languages so fluently, at least the lines for the show... And I love how she always refers to the homosexual community when she speaks about Eurovision fans :-) Who else could love such a non-serious competition, with all those colorful costumes and make-ups :-)

Petra and Måns did a fantastic job in 2016. 2016 was by far the best ESC so far. (fantastic hosts, lot of great entries, JT as interval-act). It will be very difficult for future hosts, to top this.

One of the votes for Måns and Petra came from me, as they were ABSOLUTELY the clear cut winner! They set the standard for how Eurovision should be hosted and presented moving forward, it was done in such a slick, professional and funny (but not cheesy!) way. Roll forward to 2024, I’m thrilled that Petra will be hosting the contest once again in May. I’m from the UK 🇬🇧 but I’ll be an honorary Swede 🇸🇪 too for the evening! (Will be right behind Olly Alexander to do us proud though) 😊
