It’s heartbreaking to watch these narcissistic, controlling mothers destroy their daughters’ confidence and joy. They don’t deserve to be invited to the weddings.

My heart breaks for these brides. I had one of "those" mothers. It's like growing up inside an amusement park House of Horrors.

My Mum refused to tell me which wedding dress was her favourite until I decided which one I wanted, so her opinion wouldn't sway me. Then of course, the one I chose was her favourite, because the one I loved was always going to be her favourite! She's my Mum and she wants me to be happy. It breaks my heart that these brides didn't have the same experience.

I hope these moms were able to watch themselves and do some self reflecting. These people are just awful human beings to treat their daughters this way. It’s abusive!

These mothers are forgetting that it's not about them, it's what makes your daughter happy. Yes it's lovely if you can both agree on a dress, but if you have different tastes behavior like a mother. I was lucky when my daughter got married last month, even though I had a different idea in mind of what I would have liked to have seen her in, I still loved her choice and a big part of that is because I love her. When I saw her smile, I was sold on it and she looked stunning on her wedding day.

The mom that tried on the wedding dress really burned my butter. Grrrrr. Poor bride.

I'd insta uninvite my mom if she act up on national tv, I don't want my mom's approval, stressing over that would ruin MY wedding.

These mothers are selfish beyond words. It is their daughter's wedding not hers and what she doesn't like is not as important as a happiness of the Bride. This makes me sad. They totally ignore their daughter's needs and wants at their daughter's wedding. I imagine they are also miserable when their daughters are choosing and are in control. It's your wedding girls stick to your guns.

I am proud that I didn't turn into one of these moms. I had one. My wedding was everything she wanted. It was a deep instinct of mine to help my girls with their wishes when they had their weddings. We had a great time and it became some of our most precious and memorable times together.

When I took my only daughter wedding dress shopping, I told her she looked beautiful in everything she tried on and handed the clerk my bank card. That’s it.

I can't believe how narcissistic these mom's are.

All these horrible mothers are just one thing: incredibly jealous of their young (and much younger than themselves) and beautiful daughters who are in the prime of their lives. They must have incredible deficits in their lives for being so resentful and doing this to their own children.

I wish they’d show the end result. I remember these three distinctly, and I remember commenting on how selfish these mothers were, especially the witch who left her chair to try on the dress she had picked. I wore my mother’s dress because it was a beautiful vintage gown from the 1940’s, and it cost my mother’s parents $300 (with a little help from my father). If I hadn’t loved it I’d have had it altered or picked a new one, but that memory with my mother is too precious to forget.

I’d say it’s mostly scripted, but that still doesn’t explain why these moms are so willing to go on national tv and act to terrible to their daughters.

I think the "Tawanda" mother might have had a sorta disastrous wedding or didn't get to have a dress at all &was jealous &wanted her daughter to feel the same way, that is so sad! The mother that just got up &put the dress on that her daughter had just taken off was just shameless, there was no sense in that at all!!! The mother that said "I hear ALL of these opinions but I'm not listening" needed to keep quiet! She's not even paying for her daughter's wedding, what does she mean nobody told me I had to look at a price tag?!?! THAT is just a very spoiled person & doesn't have & never will have respect for others!! Poor Ronnie's momma is the...it's my way or the highway, I have complete say IN EVERYTHING!!! Many many many years ago I knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding dress. I knew where the dressmaker operated from and went there on my own. The dressmaker and I chatted about the dress and a few months later it was ready to take home and show my mom. It was different to any other dresses I had ever seen and even now (46 years later) I know I wouldn't have had anything different.) I also did not have a traditional veil. I know that my mother would have made me try on different styles and tried to persuade me into something a little more "traditional" but, my dress was it.

I have two daughters and I would never try to force them to get a dress I liked nevertheless their wedding gown, as far as I'm concerned they can choose the ugliest or the prettiest one as long as they are happy I am happy.

There were some trashy mothers on this video and some downright rude ones. I know because I had one that was not at my wedding and out of my life. It was sad it had to end up that way.
