was looking at this phone for a upgrade as my old phone is pretty much on its last leg (screen is cracked and getting worse everyday) and your video did help me with deciding to get this phone
Your criticisms are fair, but understand that addressing them would make the price substantially more. You can't have your cake and eat it too. For what they did for the price this phone is easily the best bang for the buck I'd say.

The Helio G88 is not a 2 year old processor. It's not even 1 year old. It was launched in July of 2021 according to Mediatek's website, and the first phone to use the G88 was the Redmi 10, which came out in August of 2021.
Last time the same model of phone was released with 10 watt charger in the box but in few countries like India the same model was supporting 18 watt charging with the 18 watt included in the box
From the design to the price point to the features that including Helio G88 gaming and the stylus support this Moto device comes through as a suitable choice for regular usage.
I have the 2020 & now also the 5g... Moto Stylus.... I use the Macro settings all the time.... As I sell very small items online..... I also use the Stylus for Notes or Sketches.... & Document signing..... & I'm thankful Motorola keeps the SD card slot that I use for Photo storage....
I'm surprised by some of your information, specifically how many years of support (I read 2, you said 1) and the lack of macro camera, which I read that it had. I'm not sure what you mean by "got rid of the macro setup nonsense" but macro is a big part of my photography and i hate having to switch to manual focus to get those shots on my G7 Power.
10 watt charging in 2022 is inexcusable. I remember 2016-2018 when most of their phones came with a 15 watt charger, and the Z phones supported 30 watt. I still have their 30 watt charger.
Right? I don’t really understand the move. They can’t be saving *that* much money by doing this. Unless their battery tech is particularly bad that it would degrade it more quickly with a fast charger
I think every large phone should come with a stylus . Its great for multi tasking by the way. Also the like the choice of color this one is in as well.
I have the Moto G Stylus from 2020 and it's has a few things that are better than this new one like dual stereo speakers and a genuine aluminum frame and it's getting android 12 in the coming weeks
I have the 2020 and I really like it. The size, two speakers and a t-handle stylus that doesn't roll away if you set it on the counter. I like mine so much I bought a second one to use (without SIM card) for music both stored flac files and over Wi-Fi
Tried using IPhone for 1 year, now although I’m partial to Samsung and saving to get the next galaxy note…I’d consider shelling out the $300 for this Moto G phone!
I have the moto g stylus 4gb ram. It is the best phone I have ever bought. I paid $150 usd. It is so good, I bought a second one just to have. I never use the stylus, nor do I want to. The 1080p display and crazy performance combined with a simple Xbox One controller, make this the ultimate gaming device.
Let's hope it has USB c video out like Motorola told me they told me all the 2022 models have it it would make sense cuz Lenovo sells a lot of portable monitors with USB type c in
Nothing has changed since the one from last year, I have the one from last year moto g stylus 5g & I love it. I love the glossy color from last year & just the color this year! I wouldn't buy the new one. Why did Motorola down size on the camera, it's nothing wrong with that just why didn't Motorola try & make effort on upgrade?
I'm glad they're separating the 5G line from the 4G line. I will not invest in anything 5G for at least five years to observe any side effects that people may experience from that microwave radiation.

This is my 3rd stylus phone from Motorola. I have not heard any issues with them except the fact of someone hacking the phones. This time I will a lot smarter and don't let anyone use it without me there. Otherwise I recommend this phone to anyone who likes stylus phones. Lots of phone batteriy time. Colors are good also. . .
The stylus is more advanced than a toothpick. Motorola doesn't need to constantly add to things., Like you said about the stylus being the same. You need to change your mentality & start thinking for yourself. PP
I jad the 2021 version and loved it but lost it in the Philippines bar hopping. I paid $300 for mine when it first came out but see this 2022 for super cheap price. Is this a downgrade? Will i be sad if i buy it compared to 2021 model? Can it charge 18watt? Heard it could but not advertised. Is the processor better than 2021 model also same speakers? Can it cast to tv? Call recorder? Does it jabe tv out via usb c? What OS can it upgrade to fd😮?

Right! And if you don't do the research then it's hard to know which one of the moto G stylus have 6 ram standard and not 4. I s trying to find the best price one for the 2022 moto g stylus that was 5g and had at least 6/128 standard but if you don't check all the specs on each other then you get one or the other. I think the most recent version has both standard. I dunno, my head hurts now lol.

i used to edit and uplod all my youtube videos in 4k...from my samsung galaxy s10e....thats an old phone..but it would get it done. this phone wont....i think that says it all...that it cannot keep up with my old s10e. i swear the camera was better on that phone too.

still wish iwouldve got another moto g ace 5g one. the metro i went to that day was out of that device shouldve gone to anothet location had the 5g one ace and loved it. 6gb ram better processor and ven though same size battery as the stylus 5g it must be optimized better because the battery life was way better.took better photos as well despite using some of same sensors
As a regular person who doesn't take selfies this phone is garbage. I just got one and it's leagues behind my old moto e5 plus. It's a pain to navigate and all the 'new advanced' features are all slow and garbage. The camera is worse than the moto e5 plus even though it's 48MP lol. The screen isn't as nice, the processing power seems slow and it lags out from time to time etc.. It actually has less features than my old phone as well. It must be designed for teenagers who do nothing but use the front facing camera. They took away the handy back and home screen buttons to make it so any time you open something you have to do a hard maneuver just to close it all the way. If you don't you have 10 things running in the background. I was shocked to see there wasn't even a simple zoom function on the camera.

It had a weak grip so I just smacked it away and got ready to chuck it about 300 feet down the street before this mfer starts talking about please Mr. please no cause he has a wife and kids. @@TechDaily I have an LG stylo.. They stopped prediction on the 7 and stopped making them all together. But they been my favorite phone for more then 10 years. I have the 4 my fiance has the 5
The LG Stylo 6 has been discontinued since LG no longer makes phones and it a very terrible phone compared to any Moto g stylus. So he's right to say that.

I’ve asked that question for 2 years now 😅 2020 Motorola was stellar, and each year has been worse than the last. Lazy release, cheap compromises and less value than ever before. Fortunately, they’re relatively reasonably priced devices..but I think people are starting to notice

This is a disappointing phone in my opinion I mean for one, they gave it a higher megapixel camera but downgrade the recording to 1080p compared to last years 4K which is the first downgrade and for two, they gave it the Helio G88 Which isn't a bad processor but compared to the Snapdragon 678 it's a downgrade disappointed here but it does seem to be a nice phone but downgrade to last years
ive had all of the moto stylus phones using wowq moto stylus 5g now. even though its a plain dumb stylus, it seems to get worse and worse with every new model. The one on my phone I'm using now has had a dead spot on the lower say 1/4" of the screen. And it's weird because it's not a complete dead spot but if you pulled out the phone with the power off at do your note and start the bonding screen it won't work if you start at the top of the screen it works like a charm and when you hit like the last quarter it'll still work but you have to start in the top of the screen and work down don't know why they don't just make it at least a powered stylus with a little bit battery and it will make it a hundred percent better or the phones with Stylus is to come up with a USI standard like they do on tablet you know the USS Dallas like like I use on my laptop is amazing and they work with every laptop and computer

its not better than the G power 2021. the 2021 g power is best phone made in the past 5 years. perfect size at 6.6 inch, pretty blue color, and pretty camera layout

It should have 4k. In 2022, 4k 30fps should be standard in phones at or over $300 in my opinion. Let 8k be a hi end feature, now. 4k has been around too many years, and the 2 year old Moto G Stylus had it. Also it should have NFC. Otherwise, I like the phone, but perhaps it should be cheaper.
I just want it to run apps like the camera without hanging and crashing, which mine does in 2022 within the first 10 minutes of using it. It's stuck right now lol. Can't do anything with it.
Snapdragon processors are the best Mediatek will be like it need another processor to a processor to process the process overtime 😂 Atleast Qualcomm Snapdragon last long more than mediatek
