So excited to see your upcoming cycle Chris! I have covered the length of Sweden by bike, roughly 2000 km. I do however have a tip/concern: Please Please get yourself a rack on the back of the bike to hang bicycle bags off - carrying around a big backpack is a huge unnecessary strain on your back and could end up injuring you on its on. Invest in not breaking your body on this trip, plus it makes for a much more enjoyable experience

I believe they will have a little production team with them (probably in a car) and so I guess they will carry the heavy luggage for him. Otherwise you are absolutely right! good equipment and ballanced weight distributation are extremly important for long trips ... I love cycling and hiking myself and having to carry too much weight on your back can ruin your whole trip -.-

I stayed at those blocky, capsule hotel rooms when I visited Japan. And I did have a wonderful view of Mt Fuji! The hotel was great too! I recommend it!

In my 9 years living in Tokyo I can recall several rare and spectacular views of Mt Fuji 🗻 after a massive tropical storm or typhoon. Always an excuse to go to the top of one of the skyscrapers and see the mountain against a cobalt blue sky

Get a bike seat cover cushion for your ride, it will make it so much more comfortable. Also, you should get a bunch of protein shake breakfast drinks (like Up&Gos but not sure if you have them in Japan), they're realy filling and give you a lot of energy.

Omfg. That roller coaster looked absolutely terrifying. Like spiders & phlebotomy, the ocean/any muddy body of water, roller coasters are another one of those phobias. I can’t stand the feeling in the pit of my stomach. It feels like your gonna die in a horrid way. Not the good fun way. Plus what if it does malfunction and you’re stuck up there then it breaks the you fall 0.0 How much did you guys offer her to do that LOL cause i don’t think id do it until someone offered me something in the 5-6 figures.

The strawberry cheesecake kit kats are AMAZING! (even better if you BAKE them! Seriously!) I got them once at the Uwajimaya (asian grocery store) in Bellevue WA. Raspberry are my favorite so far...but would REALLY like to try Rum Raisin and Sake flavors...don't know if those will ever show up here though...
