I have about a half acre yard. I have been using a 30 year old (maybe older) Snapper rider to mow it every week. They are so easy to maintain!! a spring here a new tire there, maybe a new drive disc every few years. In the same time my neighbor has probably spent hundreds of dollars taking his rider to a shop and his is less than 5 years old. I recently found a much newer Snapper (still the old style though, not the crappy 2013 or newer ones) for $50 used. Got it for so cheap because they said it doesnt run. A new spark plug and a carb clean later, I have a newer snapper!! Now I will have one of my kids mow the back yard while I mow the front. These things are little tanks.
Just bought one yesterday from a guy that was so meticulous he had the owners manual second key and a log of oil changes and hours! Can't wait to use it.
I always loved mowing grass with these. I was never able to mow grass in reverse with the Snapper i used or get it to stripe. I wonder if you're useing a Ariens in secret.
I can never get my Snapper to idle. I have fiddles with this and that, but every time I go to idle it just shuts off. Some ideas would be nice. I removed and cleaned the carburetor....
@@Bradenmorrismowing Nice! That actually did it. New fuel with some additive and it cleaned up my idle nicely. Didn't have to go back into the carb. BOL! Thanx!
désolé, je viens de réaliser que vous parliez du vivaneau et non d'une tondeuse à poussée. Je ne suis pas sûr du vivaneau que je m'en suis débarrassé il y a environ un an. il doit y avoir une vidéo sur la mésange en ligne.
