The one thing I kept wondering throughout the video is why weren't lock washers used? Seems like a necessary piece to prevent nuts from backing out and creating unwanted exhaust leaks.
Never had a need for them on this exhaust. I have ran this exhaust for a long time and never had to tighten anything. I get where you are coming from and you can definitely use them… but not necessary on this application
Just the style. Looks awesome in person. In regards to your concern, no real issue there. The only issue would be if the tips were touching the rear diffuser (which they are not).
@@NGENCustomsandPerformance yeah that flush mount look does DOES look sweet! Good luck to you, your family and your business down there Bryan and I hope you doing better each and every day health wise too❗
John Ott supersprint systems are different in that they also include the downpipe. Adding a MPX Catless or ATP Hi-Flow catted downpipe will complete the system similar to the super sprint but cost much, much less. However, sound quality and performance will be very similar.
@@NGENCustomsandPerformance Glad to hear that the performance/sound is similar to that of the more expensive Supersprint setup. With that being said, if I opt for this system along with the ATP high flow cat, will this trigger a CEL and handle emissions OK? I'm currently on the P2 tune with the stock exhaust.
It’s hit or miss with getting a CEL, even with a hi flow cat. I have had some get a CEL with both downpipe and others not. Best way to ensure you won’t get it is to have the Euro+Drive flash tune with car monitor delete.
