The new Mr. Heater Fuel Keg is a much-welcomed addition to my arsenal! I go through a lot of one-pound propane tanks each winter, so these will definitely come in handy-and save me money! Easy to use as well. Quick rundown on how they work… #icefishing #icefish #mrheater #fuelkeg #propane #propanetank #efficiency #madeeasy #problemsolved #savemoney

Thanks for sharing. Saves time not having to weigh the tanks.

Like the video Thanks. The main thing that NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT is that when you Read the label under Flame king plastic sleeve it says to be filled ONLY by certified Professional 😮

Matt thanks for the video. I would just like to say you should ALWAYS wear gloves and safety glasses. And always fill outdoors. As the instructions clearly point out propane is extremely dangerous to handle!!!

*Question : does your Fuel Keg's wobble ? Because mine do !* I just bought three of these from Walmart and discovered upon returning home that the bottom ring that acts as the stand, which has all the DOT info stamped into it are less than stellar welding. Meaning they wobble standing up right, one egregiously so and the other two not near as much but still not flat... and some applications involve the base being the stand; like single burner attachments or even Mr.Heaters own Little Buddy 3,800 BTU heater... Assembly and Quality Control is garbage and Mr.Heater should be ashamed. I asked another channel if they experienced this and he had to check because he never thought to.... He evidently has two.... One wobbles and one doesn't as per him...

I also noticed thst about both F Keg and F king The ring base isweded on tilted Or to high so rounded tank bottom is webble wobble . None of my disposable 1lb tanks have this problem and many disposables are made in USA 🇺🇸 .

Can you leave the adapter on the 20 lb. tank, and can the tank remain inverted?

I would think so? I’m not 100% sure but I don’t see why not. I’ll try and get an answer for you…

I watched a lot of videos and read everything on the Flame King website before I filled my first tank. Somewhere the recommendation was made to not leave the 20 lb tank inverted for more than 10 minutes or so. Inverted position is putting liquid propane in places that are normally bathed in propane vapor. That is the Rule of Thumb I have gone with for several years and no issues. With some practice and proficiency, it is possible to fill 4 or 5 tanks in 10 minutes. Shut the 20 lb tank valve off and flip the tank upright while putting on caps, I weigh all of my tanks after filling using grams on the kitchen scale. More precise than fractions of an ounce. Leave the refill adaptor on, cover with a rag to keep dust out. There are 28.375 grams in an ounce (454 grams in a pound), so ny tank with 445 - 465 grams is full enough for my purposes. @@mattjohnsonoutdoors

Are these Better than the refilable Flame King ?

I haven’t used the Flame Kings to be honest

As a Flame King refillable owner the only difference I see is the bleeder valve. Fuel keg doesn't require a tool but the Flame King does need its own allen key to open or close. Also both are proprietary meaning you can only use F.K. valves with F.K. cylinders. Same with Fuel Keg. Hope this helps.

Horrible desigin! That ring is going to catch on things and open. Can't for death and lawsuits! clowns🤡

@@joeproper5020 WRONG! It is designed with a safety valve built in. There is a “post” on the filling unit that must engage and depress the safety in order for the “relief” valve to open. So there is no way turning the ring will release the propane.
