My buddy lost his 870 in the water duck hunting and a week later when the water was down we found it and it just worked like a champ. Old 870's are awesome. (I own a mossberg 835)

Love my 590 Retrograde! Threw a XS Big Dot front sight on it, Vang Comp big safety, Strike Industries mag follower, and an Esstac shell card on the receiver. Not much else needed. 👍

I have a 1969 remington 870 . Dad gave it to me. I love it. Also own a Scorpion evo3. It's my favorite gun to shoot

I'm an old guy. Maybe that explains for the semiautomatic pistol my favorite is the Sig-228. There is no wrong pick. They all beat throwing rocks.

Ive got 3/5 of these. BCM, Glock 45/19x and CZ Scorpion. Trust them with my life and even though I have many other nice and fun guns, new shooters always love those 3.

Live in Western WI, MN border. Been seeing some really nice AR variants from WI going by 0x brand or something like that. Neatest one I saw recently had carbon fiber running all the way down the barrel, another receiver from Black Rain Ordnance was pretty awesome but damn are those pricey. Tested out the new Shadow 2 Compact at the range earlier. Pissed I still shoot better with my custom glock 17, but I haven't modified the CZ and forgot to bring a screwdriver for the iron sight adjustments, ended up shooting low - felt like wasting ammo. My stepdad is in love with really old, really beat up 870's. Found one for $300 recently with a slug barrel, definitely old and beat to shit but looks neat. I prefer inertia driven shotties myself. Totally agree on the Glock 19x/45, although I'd go with a Glock 45 Gen 5 if I had to go back in time... they are so cheap, no reason not to own 2-3 of them though.

My current lineup which is not top of the line but I've used and seems a solid to me. I have a Maverick 88 with an 18-in security barrel with the ATI pistol grip buttstock(28in classic Mossberg 500 backup) a custom AR with a Anderson lower and a palmetto upper 16in barrel (Ruger 10/22 takedown Magpul X-22 backpacker waiting to step up) and a Walther PDP 9 mm 5-in with Ameriglo tritium IDOT and laser flashlight combo👍

I love my benelli m4, p226, beretta 92 inox, lwrc di, and recently bought hellion. I also have a cz scorpion carbine which is extremely accurate.

I’m in the Winchester 1300 defender camp. I’ve got several older 870’s but the Winchester defender is the slickest and most reliable pump I own for home defense

love the idea of a pcc.. the one I usually have close is my Sub2000 in 9mm. taked the same mags as my duty pistol!... just fold it and put it in my laptop case for work... piece of cake

Not just old 870s, but 870 Police with 20" barrel. Best duty shotties ever made. Once again, Benelli Supernova gets no love. Beautiful and smooth, the easiest to be highly accurate with slugs, and a mag cutoff for select-slug.

I have three of his five guns: the Mossberg, the J-frame, and the Scorpion. All are great. My only slightly negative observation is that the Scorpion’s recoil is more than what one would expect from a 9mm, due to that heavy bolt.

I’ve had a Mossberg 590DA1 for 20+ years and it’s one of my absolute favorite shotguns. I’d like to pick up a retro sometime.

This is a great list. My only difference would be a 22 cal revolver to replace the 38 snub knose. It is just more fun . Both of your channels are excellent

I have a Remington 870 Express that I bought just before they got bought out by Freedom Group. It never gave me any issues but I admit I hardly ever shoot it. I did upgrade it over the years, though. New extractor, polish the chamber, metal Police trigger guard, Wilson Combat ghost ring sight, Blackhawk Compstock recoil reducing stock, and Mesa Tactical side saddle shell carrier. I gotta shoot it more but I’ve never had an issue in the probably 1000 rounds I’ve shot through it over the years.

Scorpion used to be my favorite PDW, over time though I've grown to really love my PC Charger. Wouldn't say I love it MORE, but definitely on par. Both great options.

I agree with some of the choices...Old 870 or new Mossberg, can't go wrong. I prefer a 308 over any 556 in a rifle, but the 686+ is a fantastic revolver. I own 2 G19s, but much prefer the M&P9, and I have a couple PCCs, but have yet to try either listed. The new PSA reviewed recently sounds interesting... Great job guys, and Happy 4th!

CZ pump shotgun, AR? I'm not an expert, love any that are ultra reliable, BCM looks great, love my Tarus 38+ or my Ruger 357, Stacato C2, Bereta 80x or my Sig 365 are perfect for me, CZ Scorpion, agree, love mine! I always love the knowledge and expertise conveyed on this channel, thank you.

Had a trigger stud on a J frame break. 637-2. S&W did not warranty it. Said it was shot a lot and not made for that. They also broke the frame when I sent it in for paid repair and sent it back without new springs and test firing which I paid for. I inspected it before and saw the crack. They replaced it but in all it was around 9 months and 150 for this. They wouldn't suck it up and refund the fee in good faith. I have since bought a 637 UC so I don't hate S&W but their QC is bad. Check anything you get from them well.
