For anyone having issues with this board. I would recommend trying each bios version till your system is running stable. Also, try enabling xmp to your ram speed after the bios is updated and hopefully this resolves your issue.. Let me know what issues you are having. This customer was having black screening issues too so i did a rollback to a differnet version and that has fixed it for the last 3 months.
Just built a system with this mobo a 7800x3d and 32gb 5600mhz ram. Absolutely 0 issues. All I changed in the bios was activate the expo profile. =For anyone encountering issues with low gpu usage/low fps consider reverting to an older bios from the latest one which at this moment is 7E26v1D. I personally went back to 7E26v19 which I've found to be the most stable bios so far. 7E26v1D broke something regarding the cpu atleast in my case I was getting 30-40 fps in most games with very low gpu usage tried everything before reverting and nothing worked.
I rock this board with a 7800X3D, RX 6750XT & 32GB of Teamgroup T-Crate Classic 5600 RAM with the latest drivers and BIOS updates. My only issue was that I had to manually overclock my RAM since it didn't detect an EXPO or XMP profile.
Finally someone has the same issues as the setup i got as a mc bundle. Gkill flare x5 mem and 7700x . Exhanged ram as well 1 hour drive to get to micro center.. the other bundle is only 12900k at the 399 pricepoint. So pissed only msi i have issues with had b550 gaming issues to.. 6 gigabyte and 3 asus no issues at all first ddr5 system though .. previous bios works but no bootable into bios Expo in windows with restart only..
I see yeah Mirco Center has Intel and AMD bundles. The one you are referring to is the $400 one which comes with that motherboard mentioned in the video, 32 GB g skill flare 6000 MHz, and AMD Ryzen 7 7700X. People have been saying that they were having mixed reviews of it with issues with booting and boards that don’t work right. Honestly Mirco Center should get rid of this bundle or replace the motherboard with an Asrock B650E steel lengand.
Mine has terrible boot problems, better than they used to be but still terrible. Never seen anyone else with the problem but sometimes when it boots the entire OS runs at like 1 frame per second and the audio has that robot latency, totally unusable when it does that, updating bios has never affected this, its random except for when its cold. Mine WILL NOT boot right when it is cold in the room, isn't that odd? Had this machine for a year, Xidax doesn't know whats wrong with it even though I've told them whats wrong with it. Terrible company
Yo buddy I just came across msi b650 s wifi, it's around 189$ and offers full form atx with a 12+2+1 vrm 60 amp power stages can you check it out and give me a review whether I should buy it or not, it's the cheapest atx mobo in this range
Ive been running 6000mhz solid on 32gig (2x16g) XPG Ram , but as soon as i add the other 2x 16gig chips then pc fails to boot… JUST CANT GET IT TO WORK !!! ive tried everything, endless youtube videos how to get 4x 16gig ram chips to work with no success , but apart from that my dual 16gig 6000mhz running solid
I think that most of issues may come from incompatibility between the RAM and the motherboard. I bought the CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16Go) 6000MHz CL36 AMD EXPO model CMK32GX5M2D6000Z36 alongside with the MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wifi. I have checked on the official MSI site that this reference is not included on the official compatible memory list. Hopefully I have not started to build the PC yet so I'm going to return the Corsair memory and buy the Kingston FURY Beast EXPO 32GB 6000MT/s DDR5 CL36 model KF560C36BWEK2-32 instead, which is in the official compatibility list.
yeah mine has a ram training error because Xidax put the intel Gskill in it instead of the AMD gskill. (yes, xidax is that stupid) oh yeah, and then they declined to warranty the mistake

I have same issues. MSI B650s with AMD9 Ryzen combine with kingston DDR5 7200 32GB CL32-44-44 1.45v , when I select the correct timings I dont boot up. Never has Some issues like this.
Mine not working 06.16.24 I never could get into the bios did a bios update through the msi center . Had to restart now I'm getting the green light on the board led lights which is boot failure. @@cristopherragnir1697nah you're right I'm confused between these two boards as well, msi offers a full atx but a bit weaker vrm and lots of issues compared to the better vrm of gigabyte b650m aorus elite ax
Having similar issues with my b650m mag mortar with a 7950x and verified corsair 6000mhz compatible ram. With expo enabled it refuses to reboot, have to power down to boot it. Bios fully updated, fresh install of windows, and all updated drivers from msi website. I've tried 3 different verified compatible kits of ram and they all do the same shit. Starting to wonder if it's the mobo or the processor.
Did you try manually setting the expo, sometimes that helps. Other wise I think it’s the processor that is the issue. Most likely the memory controller got fired or was defective form the factory
Man my PC was working fine and now it's always stuck on red led and yellow led. Any thoughts? Cleared CMOS/reseated everything multiple times. Tried 1 ram stick and even non. And starts working once out of maybe 30 times turning it on.@@LANDONINAPC
I'm currently using a MSI B550 Tomahawk mb. I have bluescreens for like 6 months after I complete the build, just kept entering the bios and exit to start the computer until I finally update the bios one day and it had no problem afterwards. I want to upgrade to this motherboard but kinda have doubts after watching this video cause I have the same problem before.
B650 owner here. Did a BIOS Update instantly before installing Windows. Had no problems at all. 7800x3d. 2x16gb ddr5 6000mhz in expo mode. Theres one Option that Always Checks RAM before booting that Takes 10-15 Seconds when booting Up but you can disable it.
@@MoltenTunabios version? When it takes that long check the ram leds on mainboard. Maybe your ram is faulty. And as i said you can deactivate ram check in uefi to boot faster

I bought this motherboard and built my new PC with it and I was facing the exact same issue with it not POSTing, and I couldn't get into BIOS, let alone Windows. I guess it's time to get a new motherboard
What motherboard would you recommend instead? I'm going to be building my first PC soon and this was the motherboard I had picked. I see some people say they have no issues but I'm willing to pay more for a really good motherboard if I have to. I was thinking about going for the MSI Mag B650 Tomahawk Wifi instead.
Nah Both ASUS and MSI suck. I would take your $200 and get the Asrock B650E steel legend instead. It’s very reliable, has excellent VRMS, and PCIE 5.0 m.2 and PCIe slot on the top. It’s become my new favorite budget motherboard.
I can promise you that you should stay away from this board lol. After downloading the new bios and fixing it, it later had issues again where I had to roll back once again. Super annoying.
Is this the same as the MSI B650-P PRO WiFi? About to build a new PC and upgrade from my gaming laptop and this one is included in the bundle for about $370
i got one it doesnt work after like 3 months. the ssd and cpu lights are on and doesnt boot, it happend only after i changed my gpu. i tried flash backs and cimos reset aint work, got a new mb an it worked fine

So I’m trying to buy a mother board and cpu (ryzen 7 7800x3d). After some research I settled on the b650 tomahawk or asus rog strix b650E-F wifi. And now the choice is between bios issues or getting my cpu blown up. Any suggestions? 😂

@@thetokenasian77 I first thought that my Corsair vengeance DDR5 6000Mhz was on the list but there is a lot of different models for this precise memory. If you checked that the exact model reference (the one I bought was CMK32GX5M2D6000Z36) is on your compatibility list, so it should fully support anything related to this model espacially its frequence. If it is not the case and you confirm that it works for 52000MHz I would not be able to explain it. Personnaly I'll give my Kingston 6000MHz a try as it's part of the compatibility list. Honestly, I have built around 100 machines and I have always used the Asus Rog Strix boards in almost all of my builds unless a customer requests something else. I would advise any of the strix boards. They usually will run great without any bios update and will last. Let me know what you think.

This motherboard is a total failure. I would never buy it , but I assembled a customer a computer on this board. More than 2 days I struggled over stability. I thought the GPU was hit because the board was constantly hanging on the white LED and once the PC turned on it was able to hang while playing games. That's why I upgraded the BIOS to version 1.9 first, don't do that! You will encounter the above problems. The most stable version is 1.7 while you still have to reckon with a long system loading on the EXPO profile. Crap like few. I shit on MSI.
Sorry to hear this. Did you try updating the bios? Try different version should eventually find one stable one hopefully. Every setup is differnt but yes this board isn't very good.
The problem in this case was not inside the computer case it was outside of it in front of the screen. I have the same MB and the only issue I had was, that the drivers for the wifi adapter were not installed on it.
Haha I can tell you really don't like to do any research. There is a reason this video has 30k views. Just do yourself a favor and read some of the comments, that will tell you enough.

Hey, when i go to pcpartpicker with the cpu abd motherboard it says that i need a specific version of the motherboard. Did you have to update the version or not?
I've seen nothing but problems with this motherboard. Everyone is going to have a different experience. I'm glad yours is running well. The newest bios update has finally fixed the boot issue and blue screen.
Damn, i wish i saw this video before i bought this motherboard, i cant turn on xmp bcz it will take 5 mins to start my pc, back usb ports makes my keyboard crazy and pressing random keys, when i turn on bluetooth my wifi speed is divided by 10 and i am not joking, from 50mb/s to 5mb/s or less, i feel so bad :(
I'm guessing your using 2.4 ghz wifi, make sure you're on 5 ghz band or bluetooth might interfere. They are around the same frequency range and i'd guess they're interfering with each other. Just a guess.
Ive had this problem for about 4 months any form of update for me that requires a restart is hell because its gamble for me if my pc even gets past boot alot of times it just freezes in the msi logo or just goes into a black screen loop so updates for me with windows/amd drivers are a nightmare and reaching out to msi just got me a fat nothing. They tried to blamr my pc issues on buying ram that wasnt supported so i bought suported ram and the same issues are still here, the board its just terrible in gonna buy a new boare and snap this into half thats how much i hate it
i bought the same one half year ago as you, so much issues, everywhere. And yesterday I found I can’t power off , if I power it off manually it wouldn’t light up,i reinstalled the win11 and the issue still there. Finally I made a decision jumping into the intel. Goodbye Msi
I have issues with new bios versions when my gpu (3080 ti) is connected to the mainboard. Black screen and bootloop without any ability to enter bios. Orange LED on the mainboard is indicating a RAM issue according to the manual. Remove the gpu and use the onboard ports for the display, everything works. Used the gpu for a year with an intel chip without issues. The fix for me was a downgrade to BIOS version 7D75v17. Some people on the msi forums claim that 7D75v1E a more current version is stable as well. I will try that in the future but for now i'm happy with a stable system. Hope I could help.
@nicegurman1902 right now it is currently running stable after changing the bios. But who knows how long that will last. It was working for a couple months after a bios update then went back to not booting lol. Goodluck. I would try every bios version till it's stable
Lol this isn't just a one off issue. Look up this motherboard, there are known issues with thise board and issues the manufacturers haven't fixed. They need to be called out to resolve issues for the consumer or else nothing will get fixed.
That's not the issue.... the board ran fine after the bios update then stopped about 2 weeks later then started working again. We switched out differnt sticks did the same thing..
@@LANDONINAPC Hi, I recently assembled the PC with this motherboard, an AMD 7 7700X and MSI RTX 4070 Super, I had various crash errors and some blue screens, you advise me to keep the bios v13 or they solved something with the latest bios update ? I replaced the RAM and I have fewer crashes (more in the area of software games that close on their own for no reason, and a blue screen) I don't feel the PC is stable.
Stay away from MSI motherboards. They suck. ASUS motherboards are way better and more reliable. No more MSI motherboards for me. I've had boot up issues, BIOS freezing, default settings maximizing all of my fan speeds, running a bench test did the same thing, caused screens to flicker, and it also caused my GPU fans to run constantly. They shouldn't be running because I have 10 case fans (6 Noctuas and 4 stock) along with a dual fan CPU Noctua heatsink. When I'm not playing games, the GPU fans aren't supposed to be running. MSI should just recall all of their motherboards and shut down their business. You would think that in 2024, there wouldn't be BIOS issues such as what I experienced above. But man, what a nightmare.
