I bought the MSI GS66 stealth at Best Buy‘s and I am very satisfied with the purchase. Best Buy’s GS66 has an RTX 2070 Max-Q and Intel core i7 and 240 Hz screen and even though it was roughly $1700 dollars the performance and quality build is completely solid and makes up for the price. I am a big gaming anesthesiologist and I have had no problems whatsoever running the most high-end games on this laptop and I love the applications that MSI provides from their website that you can download with one of them being the MSI True Color application which allows you to adjust the screen settings and another MSI application that I am in love with is the Dragon center which allows you to adjust its performance and how the fan runs. Overall if someone wants to buy this laptop it’s on the Best Buy’s website and I 100% recommend this laptop 👍👍
The Asus Zephyrus M15 with same specs is a better buy. And I'm a big MSI fan. I owned an old gs65. The m15 has a 90watt rtx max-q while msi had 80watt max-q. Better clock numbers on m15. Asus also uses liquid metal paste on the cpu from stock. Msi doesn't. Keep temps really cool.
I have a new MSI GS66 Stealth 10SD i7 10750H hexacore, 16Gb DDR4, 1Tb SSD, 15,6" 240 Hz FHD ips screen, GTX 1660Ti 6Gb GDDR6. I love it. It can handle maxed out GTA V with great fps around 70.
I'm Totally fine with the Gs66 I take it to work I play Zombies and play Some modern warfare multiplayer. Also I just use it for emulators like Blustack & Dolphin. If you want High End Low Budget on the go gaming laptop
Hi, did you note some curves on the monitor frame? My gs66 monitor is a little bent at the center and I can notice it looking from the front when closed (the upper center part of the monitor frame doesn’t touch the laptop body when closed) or even between the hinges when opened (the air space between monitor and laptop body is not uniform). Been checking out gaming laptops for my next buy. Which one is better amongst the below 1. Legion 7i with an i7 and 2060 RTX 2. MSI GS66 with 240 Hz display and i7 and 2060 RTX 3. Razer Blade 15 2020 with the same configuration 4. HP Omen 15 with the same configuration Badly need some help here as I am unable to decide.
my gs66 stealth does not charge on usbc. it only maintain the battery life. when i turn it off it charges. tried 3 diff usbc charges. and power tester showes they dont give more than 40w
did anyone have wifi issues with this? out of the box, the internet connection was super slow (confirmed not router problem, other devices run just fine). and was there a fix?
Look at my benchmarks and thermal testing. It has excellent GPU thermals out of the box, but the CPU runs hot. Add a power limit to the CPU and you get super cool CPU temps too
@@PaPa_B34R barely if at all. 95% of games out there rely on the GPU and memory more than the CPU. With the 10875h, you'll probably even get better gaming performance with a small undervolt to run cooler and more efficient with less throttle.
How is the screen & color accuracy on the 244 hz 2070 max q version? I am considering this laptop for gaming, heavy music orchestration & audio production and also some video & photo editing, so I want an all around portable workhorse to be able to handle these areas decently. But since I work more with heavy audio production than photo editing, the CPU performance is slightly more important than the color accuracy. There is a temporary offer where I live of 1.9k Euro for the 244 hz, rtx 2070 max q, I7-10750H 1 TB version, and I'm considering it, would you say that it's worth that price?
is there a video showing how the games are tested? My desktop with a 3700X and 5700XT struggles at 110fps on Witcher 3. I have a hard time believing that a laptop can keep up.

I have seen reviews and the Lenovo 5 also heats up but I think that in that laptop you cannot change the speed of the fans or put it in silent mode I would recommend the gs66
i have one of these. there is some problems related to plastic part but other than that there is nothing bad about it. how do you know legion 7 will be unproblematic anyway

My needs woul be **4k video editing** and some **gaming**. I know the ports are different. Creator has sd card slot and gs66 has more than one usb type A.But I care about the screens more, color accuracy, performance \*the creator 15 (A10SD-276ES) has a *144hz panel*, but a *1660ti* \*the creator 15 (A10SE-265ES) has a *uhd* *60hz* panel and a *rtx2060* \*the gs66 on the other hand comes with *FREE DOS* (which I don´t know if it is good or bad), has a *240hz* panel (though they say it may be a little bit dim) and a *rtx2060*. I believe (I'm not sure) the color accuracy is similar to the fhd creator so... I don't know what to do, what do you think?
GS66 is 15", while Razer Blade Pro is 17" and around 50% heavier. So are you looking into a thin and light gaming capable ultraportable (GS66 / Razer Blade) or for significantly more performance while still being decently portable? (Razer Blade Pro / Alienware M17 R3)

Likely depends on how much gaming performance you want. XPS 17 does tons of things really well but doesn't have fast refresh rate display and is limited to RTX 2060 at the highest. How much do you value gaming performance?
dont buy this horrible build quality mine started falling apart 3 months later . Runs way to hot to the touch the keyboard feels too hot . The hinge sucks . Yes its creaky and flexy. the hinge broke . It scratches ultra easy . Heavy . The screen isnt as bright as it should be but colors very good and colour accurate .
