Commons will likely be just weaker enemies like Flans, Gremlins, Mandragoras, etc. Wouldn't be surprised to see some uncommon legends though. As long as the most busted card in the set is a Tonberry, I will be happy.
Tonberries are deathly in Final Fantasy 11, I’ve seen someone get throat stabbed for 1k damage. I can see Tonberry having an ability to like “deals x damage, where x is number of tonberries that died this turn”.
It depends on if its going to be built up like Lord of the Rings was(full set of 150+ cards), or if this is going to be like Assassins Creed (80 card set). Some key characters might be on 1 card. Like Squall and Rhinoa, and have abilities that reference both characters abilities. But i do hope they pick a variety of creatures and make the alt art styles be from different games so we can get variety that way
@@BensonMTG14 players say that it’s the best FF ever made. It’s extremely highly regarded as FF and as an MMORPG. Haven’t played it myself, but I haven’t heard anything but praise for it.
i guarantee all the char from 7 8 9 10 and 14 will be in the set as legends. well get the garlands and then i bet there will be a new enchantment type called Jobs that do different things and level up
Same here! Aesthetically, the one-winged angel version would be best, maybe he flips into final boss fight form. Ugh, now his theme is playing in my head. What does your ideal Seph MTG card do?
I didn’t play that one, but know of Kefka. I do see flip cards being a thing. Vincent Valentine flipping into his limit break various beast forms would be awesome
The comparison would be similar to the kamigawa sagas. Creating a jester token. While subsequent effect records all the attrocities he commits up until his final form. I'd be very suprised if we dont get kefka.
I don't think there's almost anyone who cares about what these cards can do lol. Give us some good collectors stuff and I'm happy as hell. I've waited my entire 37 years on this earth for this. I love mtg. I love FF more lol. I will never use any of these cards. I just want to collect them all.
@@BensonMTG That's fair, it's kinda one of those not so secret cult classics. Always loved the game though, kinda skewed balance issues and other gameplay problems, but I was a kid when I played, never though of them for the most part, and the story more than makes up for it. Still hoping for a remaster like Tactics Ogre got for the Switch or something, that'd be awesome
For me so long as FF14 has a good chunk of content i'll probably be happy Especially if they make more class cards that match up with it I'd be hype for a Dark Knight class to throw into my aristocrats deck Or a Summoner class to add into my reanimator/mill deck So long as we get more than just "The Scions of the Seventh Dawn" and a few Ascians (the heros and main antagonists respectively) We should be fine
I’m thinking a lot of dual faced modular cards, or dudes that transform, such as Cecil from dark night to paladin, Vincent Valentine to his ultimate beast form. Possibilities are endless
