As an old former soldier myself, I love the ration pack reviews because it is base point for how similar we all are. Russian, Canadian, American, Brit, Pole; there is so much that is familiar in the various ration packs. I think a Chinese RP would be interesting to try.

Very cool Mick. Hellloooo. I've tried other Russian rations, but not this style. Mixed comments from reviewers on this type of ration. Let's see how yours goes. All components look good. Many I am accustomed to. I am unsure if I have seen that main, however? It looks and sounds good from your description Mate. A little salt or pepper never hurts, agreed. I love that apple butter !! I'm sure the current conflict has a lot to do with that? It must be hard for the producers to keep up with demand! and quantity over quality has to take preference?...Take care my friend...ATB...Mick

Ooh, almost a nice ration from Russia. Certainly looked good on the packet. I think I’d not bother with any of that though. Maybe I missed it but I assume it was a civvie ration. Thanks.

Great vid Mick, I don't have this version, so its cool to see. Shturm just means Storm... think of the stg44. I think there is some sort of Russian tank also called Shturm, but I'd have to check

The quality is below par too. Probably for the same reason, I would imagine production is struggling to keep up with demand out in the field where they are needed....ATB...Mick
Looked like a very utilitarian ration. Not much in the way of a moral boost. It looks like they've reduced the budget as the Russian tea and apple jam used to be very good quality. Great review as always Mick :)

I would have liked to see the rice beef heated with the heating wafer. I wanted to see if it was a rip off of the US heating wafer. Overall, not a good ration IMO. Thanks for the review.
