Hi...Thanks for watching and commenting....That's great to know.....& Thanks for the info., We don't have that flavour here in the UK, so its difficult for me to describe. Unfortunately bar side pub snacks are no longer seen in the UK do to hygiene regulations (all those unwashed hands dipping into the same bowl ..lol) But I do miss the free salted peanuts we used to have. (lots of salt to make you thirsty and buy more beer!...LoL.... they weren't stupid those bar tenders..LoL....ATB....Mick

Hi Scott...Thanks for watching and commenting. Unfortunately the bottles of hot sauce seem to be going in all rations. Even the British "Hot diggity dog" now seems to have gone. Like you say, probably becoming too expensive. Peanut butter on first strike?...I've never considered that....Might be one to try in the future! I did try the chocolate drink, straight after the coffee. It was very thick and sweet, but decent chocolate taste.....ATB....Mick

Hi John...Thanks for watching and commenting...Overall not a bad meal, Some tortillas and jalapeno cheese spread would have been nice?. Back from my little escape and managed to live off rations for 4 days!. I couldn't be bothered to record any videos and just enjoyed the peace, quiet and relaxation of being away on my own for a few days...Back now and back to the poking, prodding and appointments from the medical profession...lol...life goes on...Just!....lol...ATB & take care my friend...Mick

Hi Kevin.....Thanks for watching and commenting....To be fair, the mains didn't taste too bad, especially with the hot sauce powder added. It would have gone better with some tortillas, instead of crackers, but still OK. Thinking about it, nearly all ration mains, from most countries, look like slop...lol. I suppose they go for taste (and ease of eating) over actual appearance. That said, when you find one that tastes of slop too, then you know its really bad!...lol...ATB...Mick

It's good quality outdoor food, Gordon Ramsay wasn't consulted.Loads of calories, some comfort food,easy to eat when in combat situations. It's not ,"stop the war it's dinner time,"eat when you can,most likely when going up and down Fing mountains, grabbing food out of pockets as you can.

I made a comment that I thought this ration looked horrific. While others I've seen Mich review, and I've personally tried myself, have been great. Maybe with only 2 comments ever made on this channel, you should read peoples posts in further episodes before you come off as a know it all. BTW, the Gordon Ramsey reference, that's really cliche and cringe. Try something else. 👍

Oh no, a Troll. Here goes .Gordon Ramsey is a readily recognised slop jockey who publicly congratulated British Army cooks who prepared tasty food for 600 hungry soldiers out of the back of a lorry in the middle of winter. His culinary skills are beyond reproach, but he was not consulted on this.I've eaten food like this out of tins, packets,and from back of lorries in winter. No Regiment of the British Army or any unit of American Armed forces was mentioned. It's not slop, it's probably better than anything you have eat.

Hi..... Thanks for watching and commenting. That is a difficult question!.... When I was younger I served more than 10 years in the British Army (both as a regular and then reserve) and chose to join an Infantry regiment on both occasions. I completed various tours, duties, and during my time, saw active service. The US and British army work differently, but I think you need to decide what it is you want from the forces? The Armed forces are a great way to get first rate training in whatever field you are interested in, building self confidence, respect, physical (and mental) health and showing you what you are capable of. As well as the front line "Fighting" men and women there are just as many working in support and doing just as (if not more) important work. Things like supply / logistics, catering, medical teams, mechanics. Don't think you have to aim for "special forces" or parachute (airborne) regiments either. Even they are useless without logistic support, medical support or even the mechanics that service / fix their vehicles! I chose to serve in the Army, but it would be the same in the Navy or Airforce. Everyone dreams of being a ships captain or a fighter pilot, but again, even they are useless without the deck/ships crew or ground crew supporting and maintaining them. So I would spend a long time asking myself "What do I want out of my service" before deciding which service and which specialism....That went on a bit....lol...But hope it made sense?...ATB...Mick

Hi....Thanks for watching and commenting. The main meals are boiled in their pouch for 10 mins. This cooks it just the same as using the flameless ration heaters and how many of the troops would heat them also...ATB...Mick
