I put a denso pump in my Alero when the original quit at around 300k. It held up until I got rid of the car at 330k. I am now a proud owner of a Trailblazer so I'm enjoying your videos. I am currently rebuilding it's engine. I hope it all goes well after I put it back together.

My Bosch pump was immediately bad. Got a refund and bought AC Delco.

What I learned about this video… They don’t make stuff like they used to. I’m glad you got the lifetime warranty. Sorry about the tow…

Enjoying your videos thanks for posting them. I have a 2006 GMC envoy that I’ve had for 14 years with 160000. Mine is running great, but thinking about changing the plugs when I came across to your video. I’ve always changed my own oil and hope I get close to the mileage you have.

Nice video. Was it difficult to test the fuel pressure? I just installed a Bosch fuel pump a couple weeks ago and it seemed to be working okay but now the vehicle seems like it's going out again. I think I missed the return window at Rock Auto so I bought another Bosch fuel pump and it had all of the green markings also. This next pump replacement will make #3 as well 😧

Oh man! That's the same scenario I had. I haven't had any issues with the second Bosch pump I put in. Fuel pressure was easy to test for me. On my 2004 there is a Schrader valve right in front of the fuel filter on the frame rail just beneath the drivers seat. Super easy to hook up a pressure gauge to check.

I would probably start by confirming the fuel pressure.

Quality plus design wins. I wonder if the original 330k OEM pump had the same case seal design as these Bosch?

I don’t recall. I’d have to go look at my first fuel pump video to see if I could tell.

I would have not replaced with a BOSCH, I would have replaced with Genuine GM (MU1837). I saw your 1st video and after watching you gave me the idea to DIY. I was going to order the BOSCH but I read a review about the Genuine GM and decided the only way was to go with Genuine GM. It was a lil’ more expensive but it was well with it so far and not having to do the job over.

Why spend more on the GM one, when its literally a BOSCH unit.

Yes always order the GM or Delco part. Never order the cheap chinese knock offs. They are cheap for a reason. You get what you pay for.

Bosch automotive parts are not what they used to be. The name screams quality but sadly it’s not…
