My favourite way to study any language is writing it down in a journal, reading books in that particular language and speaking it with someone that knows the language well.
As someone who struggles with motivation; hiring a tutor was the best decision I've made. I realise this resource is not always affordable or accessible for everyone but personally It keeps me accountable and ensures I dedicate at least one hour a week.

It's ok, I only fostered her for a few weeks and now my boyfriend is fostering her, so I still get to see her sometimes! She's great, but we would love to have her find her forever home!

Oreo is so cute! It is good that you read out loud. My Italki tutor told me that I need to read out loud more often. I use Reverso Context or DeepL while reading. I am so terrible at reviewing vocab. And yes, Oreo owns the house! LOL

I love that you kept learning Italian to get better at it I have to get better at my Italian too, because I want to be able to speak better with my cousin that is Italian.
Don't sweat it. Your italian is fine. Don't worry to much whether you put adjectives before or after the noun: the difference is pretty small (most of the times) and in spoken language is basically non existent (l'anno prossimo = il prossimo anno). Obviously speaking is always the hardest part, but the only way to improve is by having a discussion with somebody All the best!
I love the diary idea! I need to try that for my Spanish studies. I try to make sentences in my head but I pretty much just exchange the English words for the Spanish ones I know, and I am not doing the right sentence structure.

Thank you! When I was A1 I actually just read short stories online for free and didn't read books yet. I think children's stories are really great for A1 learners.

I dont get why when you put a word in a sentence like Il mio nome è Anthony but than add hi to the start it turns into this ciao mi chiamo antonio why does it change the whole sentence?
