I can back everything said. I was in a dark place in my life and I just had no motivation to take care of myself. Really kicked my ass everyday but I came out of it a much happier person

Day 69, man this was theeee best thing i have ever done, the first 20 days were so hard, but after that it started becoming a habit i started acting differently, i started cutting bs from my life, been more focused on my work, more positive, more open minded, more confident. As workouts i choose for first one jogging or swimming for the first one, and the second one i picked mix of weightlifting and calisthenics , didn't lose much of weight, but got more defined and damn my strength got so so crazy, diet is just slight calorie deficit with loads of protein and fibers. Progress pics were hard to do first weeks but then i started noticing changes and got more comfortable and the amount of pics i take daily now..😳 overall this is such a positive, freeing and inspiring experience and im so pumped for the last 5 guys... so if you wonder should you do it, go for it,its so amazing! P.S useful tip i used was to put my workouts into a calendar from day 1 to day 75 and to watch that streak get bigger and bigger each day really motivated me so much

i’m on day 4 of the 75 hard challenge and it’s kicking my ass for sure lol. i’m glad to hear other peoples stories because right now it seems insanely difficult. I will say my mood overall has already improved just for the sake of accomplishment

Great insights and very motivating/helpful video. My wife and I are in our 50s and we are starting the program. Seems like time management and discipline will be key!

Starting 75 hard from day 1 tomorrow, I’m so pumped! I can’t wait. I think the book part will be the hardest since all I have is true-crime books😅

@@torontothegood I ended early due to a hectic school/home life schedule, I’m restarting after I’m done with the semester. I’ve still been watching my food intake so I’ve been able to maintain the weight I did lose (16lbs)!

@@m.p.749 Congrats! That’s amazing. I haven’t given this a shot yet but I have the same thoughts… 2.5 months is a long time to commit but coming out the other side probably feels incredible. Good luck when you restart!

The hardest part if the program is finding two 45 minute blocks 3 hours apart....i did a 90 minute workout

Doing a slightly modified version of this, workouts can be backtoback, and water can be mixed with stuff and still count as long as the raw water is what is measured, and raw water is preferred.

I know its not the exact same as 75 hard, but I'm coming from a place of no workout at all, no water at all, so its like baby's first 75 hard. :) plus if I succeed then I can do a "real" 75 hard after

You did so good! 🤩 I did the 75 hard challenge last summer too, and I made it to day 73!! and then I got the Covi.. 😭and had to stop! I tried to be happy with that... but I couldn't 😅 So I just started it again! ROUND 2, and now I'm on day 6 and I'm documenting it all on my channel! Are you going to try again? 🥰 I just subscribed to your channel!

I was reluctant to try because of the no rest days. But then I figured that my outdoor workouts were going to be walking and that I could do mobility workouts on days following weight training days. Since the goal is develop discipline and commitment, committing to regular mobility work seems valid since it’s something I usually skip. It’s winter here so I know in advance there will be days I won’t get outdoors. So this round is going to be just for learning and lifting up my baseline habits. Then come back to a second round when it’s warmer and push it at 100% with no modifications.

Page 119 of the book says "whatever book you begin to read; you need to finish. Then you can move onto another one."

Good to know, I never read the book, just listened to the podcasts and in it he said to not give energy to anything that doesn’t serve you or something along those lines! But I read many other books and way more than 10 pages a night! But thanks for letting me know!

Just thinking about the 75 hard program...what about people who are already training twice but their workouts are indoors? Outdoors is not always possible due to safety reasons.

There’s days I ran in the pouring rain! Just gotta get it done but also be logical and choose the right time of day! You could also just do a body weight workout in your driveway or something!

Andy actually makes exceptions for the outdoor workout! If there's safety concerns you can do it indoors, but do try to find a way to do at least some outdoor workouts :)

Im interested in trying 75 hard, but Im afraid the daily progress photos will be demoralizing. I do not like seeing photos of my body and I know looking at progress photos will be depressing. The rest of it I think I can do though. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

Hey. I came across your comment and I have a tip. When I first stared my fitness journey, I took pictures (not everyday) and then immediately moved (not copy) it from my phone to my laptop. I only look at it every 30 days to compare the differences I see. I hope this will help.

Okay serious question. How did you deal with "that time of the month"? Like about a week before it starts that I get so hungry (physically and emotionally) and find it very hard to stay away from "bad" foods. Any advice?

For the 75 hard program it’s 2 workouts every single day for 75 days! There are rules posted on the 75 hard Website and app!

I didn’t write an ebook for it, never planned on doing that! I just stuck to my split at the time and went on runs or went to group fitness classes at the F45 I worked at for my second workouts!

I want to start but I can’t exercise yet because I just had a kid so I’m not aloud to exercise and it would be 2 45 minute walks a day.

If thats all you can do, that works!! The program is scaleable! So once you are cleared you can make it more intense!

I followed a macro plan and then also didn't eat after dinner! Because that was a huge challenge for me since I'm a snacker!!!

Totally personal preference but they have to be non-fiction, so a lot of people gravitate towards self help or business/entrepreneurial type books!
