My BMW 435d xdrive DMS remapped to over 400 BHP. This is as quick as an M3/M4 in a straight line.

Correct and as you said, going to Unicorn proved that and it was much quicker and driveable too. Wished I went to Unicorn first but then I wouldn’t have realised the difference between tuners.

sean dowd I asked them the same question and they disabled it on the dyno for some reason?? I'll ask them next week and let you know. It's definitely got 4wd back on again afterwards. If anyone else knows why, let me know???

Hi Sean, I spoke with DMS Automotive and they said that they disable 4 wheel drive electronically when on the Dyno. This is because they can focus the map much better and just monitor the rear wheels rather than it switching between front and rear. This means that the mapping can be much better and more accurate. How is it possible to put it only on rear wheel driving?

Hiya, not noticed anything from the rear view mirror and been pushing it quite regularly. I'll try Sport Plus mode though (only really use Sport mode) - don't fancy removing all the 'arm bands', I assume there isn't anything else it does apart from DSC off ??

Hi, yeah if I'm honest I have never noticed in sports mode, but have definitely noticed it sports plus. If I launch in sports plus mode and I get smoke and also when I have my foot fully planted down when accelerating in higher speeds. Sports plus is fine to take off in the dry, still very good grip but slightly more rear wheel based when heavy footed. I wouldnt suggest it in the wet though with this power unless your familiar with rear wheel drive cars (even though xdrive you can get end out easily). I would say the is definitely more oomph in sports plus, compared to just sports. Let me know how u find it and if the is any noticeable smoke when floored. Cheers for quick reply

Hiya, I've been driving in sport+ mode now for a few weeks and I can notice a difference in performance - seems to hang onto the gears even longer. Can't see any smoke from the mirrors anytime, so I think all is good - Have a chat with Tony @ DMS (0800 030 5555). Mention me and he'll see you right.

Hi, yeah had a chat with Tony a week or so back and they said they would look after me. I happened to go in to bmw and ask them too, as I was getting something else sorted out. The told me it was just a build up of carbon, particularly when you go straight from eco/comfort mode to sports +. Like when I had it in sports + for a few days it wasn't as noticeable. One other question I meant to ask was, did you have egr/dpf deleted from your car?

Didn't have the egr/ dpf deleted. Not sure if it would make any difference. Tony seems very knowledgable and honest. I asked about upgrading the intercooler but he said it would not me noticeable. Let me know how you get on?
