Shop tech will never give your bow enough time and care. Better to figure these things on your own. Great Job!

Try the Carter "Wise Choice" Release. Its makes your draw easyer to pull back...really. Your wrist strap might not get anchored well with the geometry angle of your MthU. But you will have to learn the Thumb release. There is a few hurtles. Set the Thumb release heavy at start for proper follow threw. Don't go light at first. Target Panic sets in on a light setting. You will thank me later. 😏

For best results with the whisker silencers. Cut 3 strips 2 inch length and stack them up. Use paper clip or clothes pin and roll and secure it around the bow string. Use a constrictor knot to secure and a double overhand knot and melt the tag in place. Then pull and cut the whiskers just like you did to separate them all from each other. This will enable it to look like a ball! Keep trimming until it meets the look you want. Lots of trial and error and everyone has their own way of doing it but this was the easier and best outcome by far that I’ve tried.

Great video. I just got my 5/16" (24 threads per inch) threaded rod & coupler nuts from Walmart, which are now my homemade stabilizers. Pewter for weights. Put in a new hooded peep. My NXT 31 hunting bow is now a target bow. Also fitted standing legs to the front of the bow. Will try tomorrow, so excited! Thanks for the inspiration.😃👍

I’ve been using the rubber whiskers for several years. They absolutely work well. You need to move them farther up the string away from your cams. It is designed to dampen the string vibration. I use dental floss to tie them on. Works well. Also cut them longer, you can trim them after you get them all separated & fluffed out. Good luck.

Your amazing! Love your happy, positive attitude! Funny and charming. You are very enjoyable to watch. You are doing something really technical and smiling through the whole thing. Love the rope burning part where you use your finger to press the hot melted string. You did it like a boss.

Tip.. try a sewing thimble on a finger when your melting the string, that way you don't burn your finger. Your anchor point is very important and I love my knuckle in the ear/jaw position to. It feels great and you built that muscle memory... Major kudos... 😉

Great job!! Love that you're learning to do this instead of taking it to a shop all the time. Makes shooting and hunting much more satisfying knowing you did it on your own. On a different note, it looks like you're leaning back at full draw, maybe it's the camera angle. Don't want you getting in any bad habits that cause you frustration later.

Your doing a good job it helps when you can work on your own bow. If you like to build stuff find you a old bear black bear compound bow and take the limbs off the riser keep the riser and order some sage bow limbs in your draw weight and bolt them on build a string and now you have a very good recurve bow called a warf bow or a Frankien bow Keep up the good work

Fire good. Great video. This is one reason I gave up high tech. Too fragile and too many things need to work every time for that one shot to fill the freezer. Also mechanics have the worse cars and other personal equipment as they're either too tired to fix their own stuff or they are constantly tinkering with it. After a 50 hr week wrenching on airplane parts I didn't need to spend time keeping my bow working. I just wanted to get lost in act of putting arrows on target.

Looking at your shoulders at full draw you definitely should try a half inch longer draw mod

Another great video. I know you did a review of your press, but it would be helpful if you would recap all of your tools. If you could include a budget for your total shop that would be helpful also. Dale

I don’t know about the knock point, but I’ve heard on the D-Loop you want to leave a 1/16th (1/8th maybe?) bit of space for when the string bends, so it doesn’t squeeze your nock off the string, if that makes sense.

Do a Bare-Shaft arrow at 6 ft from bag. Mark a black line with Sharpie below Nock. See which way your arrow spins off of bow...You will see Black mark start rotating.... Now buy a VMP fletcher gig!!!👍 Fletch Left helical or Right Helical @ 2 or 3 degrees depending on which way your Bare-Shaft spun.

I kinda agree with the one guy. You’re draw length looks about a 1/2 too long as it seems you’re having to lean your neck back and raise your shoulder. Maybe watch that part of the video to see what you think. I’m a hella noob when it comes to bows so take it for what you will. Only shot about a month

Your draw length is too long. High rear shoulder, neck and head leaning back at full draw clearly shows your draw is too long.
