Hi Tanner - your free channel is so amazing and I have benefited so much from your Qigong, brain retraining, somatic practices - very tempted to sign up for your course which looks fantastic - can I ask how much of the course is new material compared to your channel?
@painpsychotherapy
@painpsychotherapy Месяц назад
I"m so glad my channel has been helpful. The course is almost entirely new material, and far more in depth than what is on the channel. It also gives a structure to how to move through the material. Also one piece that I am very proud of is there is over 60 somatic practices and brain retraining practices. Let met know if you have any other questions!
@carajones-si5nf

@@painpsychotherapyis the material mostly video or text? I'm going to watch this video where it will likely answer these questions😊

Hi, just wanting to know if this can be helpful for anxiety and depression?
@painpsychotherapy
@painpsychotherapy Месяц назад
Yes, we have lots of practices focused on dysregulation in the nervous system (anxiety and depression). We also have tons of emotion practices! Let me know if you have any other questions.

And for the last question......I've been brain retraining and practising somatics/trauma release work for 1.5 years and want to make sure it's a good fit and wonder if your content covers any of the following: I am curious how you view pathogenesis and mind body sxs? I know that many of my sxs are neuroplastic in part related to sensitization trauma(great video by the way!) during the perfect storm of illness and relational trauma etc. I still currently am dealing with active infection but I know a big chunk of the issue is mind body which is making treatment difficult. I am of the mind that dealing with the underlying issues of the NS and trauma, as you mention here and elsewhere on your channel, will create some homeostasis in my body and give way to better immune support which will lead to my body doing a lot of healing(it's happening!). How important do you think it is to know which sxs/flares are neuroplastic vs pathogen related? Do you think there is a difference? Big question I know:)
@painpsychotherapy
@painpsychotherapy Месяц назад
Good question! I find often it isn't helpful to get too caught into figuring out what symptoms are neuroplastic or not. Instead it can be helpful to dive into the work and things can become clearer over time. This is a hard question though. Achieving homeostasis can really improve symptoms greatly! Keep going!

Question, how long is this course designed to take?
@painpsychotherapy
@painpsychotherapy 28 дней назад
It is self paced. However generally it could take 10-20 weeks if you implement all the practices and strategies. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@carajones-si5nf

A couple more questions Will there be a forum where questions can be answered? Is the cost good for lifetime access? If you're changing or adding content, will I have continues access? Thanks
@painpsychotherapy
@painpsychotherapy Месяц назад
Yes, we have an online community group where we will be answering questions frequently! It is life time access and you will have access to all new content that is added for that specific course.
@thelaceygirl
