It is not uncommon to be blocked after a breakup, especially if the relationship didn't end on good terms. An ex may also be trying to create more space from you to heal after a breakup by blocking you. What if you notice one day that you have been unblocked? What might that mean in terms of the breakup? @@number1fan19 interesting take, thanks. They have to go thru several steps to block. There was no harrassment on either side we kind of just stopped texting, but block me on a game we both play after 2 months. We have each others numbers but we haven't texted since Christmas.

We had a rough breakup that lasted 8 months, until I went no contact with her. Here we are a week later and she unblocked me. I’m still in no contact. She will contact me. She felt that I’m doing just fine. I’m doing the workbooks, enjoying my growth. Hasn’t been long but I truly feel steady and clear headed. She’s has an avoidant attachment style and she was brutally mean to me but also she knew something was wrong with her so she went to therapy. I hope she’s still going. I really hope so. And if the day comes where we find ourselves together again, I’m going in lightly and slow and I will make it a point for her to do your workbooks. I want us to do them, the both of us. I love her, but she broke me and I finally realized I didn’t need her. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want her. I do. But only if she’s dedicated to growth just as I am.

Blocking and unblocking is a common ,,game" among narcissists. I recommend, once someone start those games, get out ASAP. This is not a healthy, communicative individual, Zero chances to build a healthy relationships with individuals like this. LET them grow

I hate the word, "stalking," when it refers to social media. It's a public forum, people post things on public. My ex accused me of stalking her on social because she was coming up as active on the top of my Facebook Messenger. This is a Facebook feature! She wasn't even on my friends list at the time.

I have built a better life since she has left though, and would not trade who I am now for anything. You come to learn that people are only a supplement to your life and not a necessity. What's interesting is, she blocked me almost two years ago, she unblocked me last year but I don't dare hit like or reach out. My story is kinda crazy. Dated 11 months. Broke up 4x (currently on the 4th). He blocked, unblocked, blocked unblocked, blocked unblocked. Now I'm just ignored lol 😆 not that I wasn't all the other times. I'm starting to think he's a narcissist but I fell for the 4 month version of whoever he is. Oh and this is also someone that text me daily GM GN, was super sweet. But then goes berserk. I miss talking to him, but I'm getting real tired. I was anxious af the first 2 times, that's going away. Maybe that's the lesson.

Mine was a strange case. She blocked me yesterday morning then today she unblocked me on Facebook. She unfriended me almost 2 weeks go so we can only see each other's public posts (though her sister and some of her friends are still friends on my list so she has ways to look me up if she wants too-I'm not blocking anybody, I don't care if they want to look or not). Not sure what the deal was with that. I haven't bugged her or tried to contact her since 2 or 3 days after the breakup (8 weeks ago). So I wasn't sure why I was blocked. In any event I'm glad she unblocked me. I'm not going to contact her in any way unless she contacts me first, and I'm going to continue the work I'm doing. But It really hurt when she blocked me. Like I didn't do anything wrong, why are you smacking me in the face basically. Hopefully she doesn't block me again (I think you have to wait 48 hours to reblock someone on FB). I'm going to continue what I'm doing and not give her any reasons to block me again. And I have no intention of blocking her or anyone else.

@@DeadMysticx No, nothing has changed since she unblocked me back then. I haven't attempted to contact her or anything. I've left her alone. I wonder now if it was something accidental, or maybe there was some issue with her profile. It doesn't much matter to me at this point. I'm pretty much over my ex at this point and started seeing someone new, though we're not serious yet. If my ex contacted me at this point, I'd hear what she had to say. But if she doesn't I'll be fine. It doesn't really matter to me anymore.

I was with my ex for 2years we broke up 2 months ago and she blocked me and moved in with another guy. I’ve made it through the hardest part & she unblocked a few days ago flaunting her new relationship. How I know she unblocked me? I noticed her messenger light was green out of the clear blue. She still hasn’t said a word 2 me..there’s a lot more to the story but I can’t seem to understand the unblock? There really wasn’t a reason 2. I didn’t block her because I wasn’t mad at her , she was mad at me. It makes no sense.

My theory is that ex hasn’t moved on and the new relationship isn’t really that great as how my ex shows it lol. He dumped me because he thought he could get someone better then came back to me and I told him no. He was also hostile with my new relationship and blocked me. Unblocked me again after 5 months and he was new relationship and they moved in together then blocked me again and unblocked me again. He’s also doing the same thing to my fiancé , it’s a joke tbh . Karma really is a bitch when it comes to ppl like him lol he really hasn’t moved on and I feel extemely bad for the new person he’s in a relationship with . @@allhailsunshine052 believe it or not We had a brief text exchange about a month ago. It started out aggressively but ended peacefully. Only thing is she still stalked my page because she felt I was posting subliminal stuff about her….which was only partially true…I was just publicly expressing myself & felt the need to say something. It ended with some I’ll always love u blah blah blah…haven’t texted in a month and I deleted my fb account 2 1/2 weeks ago. The tipping point was seeing her new guy in my pymk section and we have no mutual friends. I decided it would be best to just disappear for a few months. Blocking her would imply that it’s about her so I just deactivated my account. I must say….life has been good since I made that move. All in all some ppl are strange but the lesson I learned from all of this is priceless.

@@Snowdn420 I’m glad u guys had text exchange at least to solve the issue , I feel like when exes do that , it’s because there’s unresolved issues. I actually reached out to him because it’s clear that he is still bothered by something and I just want to end it all and give it peace of mind, but he just ignored the message (though my message was like a closing statement) . I’m at least glad that I had said something at the end. I wished him the best. Life has a way to show us why they became an ex and how breakups cna really show the most nastiest part of our exes, where u will think oh they never really loved me , if they act like this post breakup.

My ex left me for a “friend” she’s known from before we dated and she went interstate and “meditated” that we weren’t meant to be even though a week prior we are talking about engagement and she’s telling people how excited she was. Next minute she’s moving interstate ti be with him, selling the dog and blowing up friendships. They are sharing stuff pretending they are friends - like they are orchestrating a plan to make it look more organic because she uses IG for her business and I bet she doesn’t want to have her “fans” see she cheated. She’s blocked me across socials but a few weeks ago unblocked me and my family but hasn’t really been looking at my stories.

My Ex surprisingly never blocked me after the breakup. She broke up with me via text, then i decided to call her to sort things out after she refused to meet me in person. She was very upset yelling at me over the phone explaining her reasons for ending the relationship. I never raised my voice at her during the phone call and kept it calm despite the disappointment. We spoke on the phone for 30 minutes. My last words to her was "I don't want anyone else but you". Her response after a short pause.... "I have to go". Kinda like in the movies haha. I didn't text her after the phone call to continue the conversation trying to win her back. I was just silent trying to process what the hell just happened. 6 hours later she decides to txt me and says "U probably don't wanna hear from me anymore but i felt i needed to tell you that i don't want us to have bad closure and want to end this relationship in a civil and friendly way". It's day 8 since NC.. Does anyone think there's a chance we get back together or is it truly over ?

I'm a woman and I tell you it's not over. She is probably a Dismissive (my ex is a DP and he came back twice during NC. 1 month period between the messages. No friends with them! It will only tear your soul apart. Answer her only when her messages are meaningful and she really wants to come back. ignore messages like 'i miss you', 'I'm thinking about you' 'wtf' etc With this messages she is seeking for a validation. Nothing else.

Hard to say. How long was your relationship? What were her reasons for the breakup? How old is she, and what’s her upbringing like? I think if you can answer those questions, you’ll get a clearer picture of whether or not she’s likely to reach back out to you. At least she was willing to end on a civil manner. Mine is angry at me and “wishes we never met.”

When you are blocked they profile pic disappear and you cannot see the last time they were online. In fb or instagram it is more evident: you no longer can see their pics or posts.

6 months since the breakup. Don’t think she’ll ever reach out. She messaged drunk 3 months ago saying she still loved me but hated me. Nothing since then. But I have noticed she’s been saving sappy quotes on her Pinterest. I shouldn’t read to much into it. I should just wipe her from my brain and move the F on lol

@@everilliem3292 it will get better. I’ve been here before. Only problem with this breakup is that it feels like she invented things to hate about me just to move on from me. Whereas all of my previous exes I felt they appreciated me even after the breakup.

@@trentoinsano yeah not sure with mine, I had alcohol and anger issues and so much garbage going on, never at her though. Heard she was in another relationship like 3 weeks after the break-up, lol. That didn't last long, Poor guy. Either way, through all the ups and downs I'm doing good, 9 months sober, and and doing my qualifications to be an AoD worker :) + Lost 20kg I'll 100% find someone who cares enough to stay with me through it all, one day.

@@everilliem3292 amazing how a breakup can motivate you to change. Even if it really won’t bring your ex back. It really shows you things about yourself you can fix. On the other hand your ex never really changes because they don’t think they need to change.

My ex unblocked me after over 2 years. I had her blocked on Chat but not profile.She had me blocked everywhere. I recently took her off being blocked and all of a sudden I am unblocked from her. I am curious to see what happens.All I know is I won't be reaching out no matter what. She rejected me and blocked me first, if she wants to talk to me she has to fix it.

Some woman I was talking with put me on a site "Are we dating the same guy" which is funny because I wasn't even dating her but, the girlfriend I was talking about there said that I was a nice guy so, I am glad to hear she has a positive opinion of me. I just do my thing and life goes on. Hit the gym get out into nature focus on my goals and purpose in life.

My ex girlfriend hadn’t blocked me, knock on wool, plus she kept a couple of our pictures on her Instagram and a few pictures of us on her Facebook, the significant ones I noticed. That’s a sign I think of her thinking about reconsidering. However, my sisters are telling me to delete the two that I have on, (which I did) and they’re like forget about it. I just want to say I can’t forget and it’s hard for me to (or anyone for that matter). Because they don’t know that often times they might want to revisit the idea of getting back together in the future.

Me and my ex we have broke up 2 month's ago after 15 days of the break-up she found someone else she stayed with that guy 10 days she break up with him and started stalking me by a fake profile she got jealous about my stories and she reached out she was playing difficult at first but we got very closely again. Sadly 10 days after she told me that she don't want me and I know that behind this is her friends and her family that they don't want me and she blocked me on everywhere. The next day I saw her in the road and I stopped to talk to her and she was very cold and mad at me and she said that she never gonna sent me a message or gonna call me again or my phone that our story is over and that she never gonna unblock me. After exactly 12 days she unblocked me out of nowhere but the have pass 10 days after the unblock and she don't tried to reach out to me and she don't see anything of my stories and she has me unfriend on everywhere what should I do should I wait out to see If she's gonna reach out or not? What are the possibilities In this situation? We had almost a 2 year relationship and we were very loved

Leave her alone as long as you can bear, she’ll eventually reach out and if not that’s your sign to move on. Give yourself two weeks or a set amount of time. But don’t be so available, you have to build a sense of exclusivity
