Trust me ! When they un-block you, they need some drama , because their new supply is boring them to pieces 😂 but they un-Block is an invite back into h3LL

A narc blocked me after I called him out on his shady behavior. Okay. I’m blocked. In my mind, it’s for LIFE. Even if I’m unblocked, I would never know because why would I ever try and contact someone again who blocked me? I lowered my standards the first time around, why would I chase someone I’ve ALWAYS been too good for? It’s funny because this is a manipulative tactic used to gain the upper hand but basically, the narcissist effectively erases their existence with this dim witted maneuver.

I wonder what it was like for a narcissist before the internet/social media existed? Social media must have opened a gold mine.

After the last time she unblocked me I didn't even know until I got yet another "friend request" from her again. I thought about it for a couple of days before getting back online and blocking her myself. Not that desperate.

It’s such a trap. This is why we shouldn’t go back. Blame shifting, denial, complete lack of empathy or awareness of what we were put through, and that’s before verbal abuse or whatever reason for the unblocking. (I am speaking in generic terms, and not demonising anyone here).

Wish I knew this months ago. But I figured at some point, he was blocking me to emotionally hurt me. I would use other avenues to ask him to reconcile and he’d wait days before responding to me to make me more emotionally unstable. It was a rollercoaster. Being blocked was my biggest trigger. Now I blocked him back everywhere and he is incapable of contacting me. Cycle is over!

This all happens to me on a monthly basis with my ex 😔 He blocks/unblocks but never never apologizes or admits to his sh*tty behavior.

I was able to figure this much out intuitively on my own, due to noticing time n again that he will never take on even the tiniest risk by reaching out first, in case he gets rejected or in case I may be w another guy when he contacts, (despite even him KNOWING that I prob won't be w someone since I like to be alone most of the time, he STILL is too scared to text or call first. EVEN WHEN we were talking.), and so he always just waits for the girl to make a move first, like a lil beach :) But your confirmation of what I'd seen was very nice and much appreciated!

He blocked me and then unblock me. It was frustrating untill I had the strength to block him forever. On everything. Fb, messenger, ig, phone. Yet he still tried to reach me but fortunately he gave up some time ago and has new supply. I just hope it will be forever. 🙏 I'm at peace, at last!

He apologized to our mutual friend about me and told him he missed me and he nodded to being told "You know you fudged up big time, right?". I got none of that, and I'm thankful because it'd be a sort of compromise that would make neither of us any happier or healthier. He did tell me "We have to talk", and since we parter our ways again since, honestly my guess is that he probably analyzed where I'm probably at, and concluded that a promise of heart-to-heart talk about him realizing his wounds and failings could be something he could use as a carrot on a stick. And he was kinda right. But I knew he likes being chased for something and rejecting people, postponing it, etc. We were in the same cyberspace for a while, I never brought it up, and he left after a while. We were boring and we weren't giving him what he needs, I suppose. What you shared today is a useful lesson for people in general because owning your things is hard, and it's not uncommon to get something instead of "I'm sorry", even from normies. I opt to accept these things sometimes, from one of my best friends who has narcissistic traits, it can be free food or a business gig.

After some time he unblocked me, i didnt reached out, so he procedeed to go public on social media, uploded pics of him like showing he was doing great, I just observed silently but never talked to him, so then bam! blocked again. One day i recieved a text from him, being super agressive after months of no contact , I didn,t reply. One month after that message i reached out bc i am stupid, he ignored me completly and blocked me. Now another month passed by, and im freshly unblocked 🤡

Mine blocked me then unblocked me to a wave emoji in FB messenger. He said, "I need you to block me because it's too hard for me to not talk to you and have contact". I told him he was a "big boy and you can do it" plus I won't block because he asked and DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO (childish, I know but whateverrr. Lol) . He was begging me to block him. At some point I did block then he created some kind of "group message" that only he and I were in and contacted me. I am now no contact after I found out he lied about having a new "GF". He is just a broken mess. It's sad but I am putting ME first now.

I haven't talked to mine in a month after setting a boundary after being discarded, I used to reach out through email, burner #'s etc. I didn't the last time because I'm done with the back and forth being used and the games. I have noticed now that I was unblocked on one thing and I'm still not reaching out. He had me unblocked for at least a week.could have been longer but I didn't notice till last Sat. I caved & reached out after a week. I sent a message which he read right away..and the next day sent one more, they weren't super critical, if anything I had things that complimented him. But the last message I said something to the effect of I appreciate how he unblocked me but not sure if it's for malicious reasons because the last time he reached out it was a threat then immediate block. Hoping he would say SOMETHING to own up to any wrong doing or just something period..but I get nothing. I basically called him out instead of polishing his asshole. Within 2 hours he had me blocked again 🤦‍♀️ I'm not 100% sure he's a narcissist but he has shown me enough over the last year to suspect he is. Y'all are exhausting & addicting at the same time..wtf? She had children with the guy she was “in the process of divorcing” since we stopped being involved the last time. This woman I've been dealing with for almost 2 years now is a Narcissist to the extreme. Never met such a delusional victim mentality type person before. Well that's not true, better worded I've never liked someone like this narcissistic before. Long story short, I always was the one to lower my own standards and betray my own boundaries to try and make anything work between us. At least 4 times she agreed to hang out, or go on a date and never came through. A few times I made plans with her and she just stopped talking to me and a few days later I'd see her on Instagram or Tiktok hanging out with some other dude. And sadly, I have to admit for about a year and a half I was unable to go even 3 days without trying to get her attention somehow. A like, a message, anything I just had to do it. Then this year in early February she blocked me because she got dumped by some guy and knew I was probably enjoying the Karma she was getting. Which I wasn't...I just wished that she would stop getting with the same type dude over and over again. Anyway, she unblocked me about 3 weeks ago probably because I didn't desperately try to get her attention or reach out to her. And now I can see that she's probably still confused as to why I still haven't even when the door is open. I just finally felt finished with how she abuses me. And I'm no longer interested in trying to gain her approval or love. Blocking me and giving me that time to reflect and think about things was her biggest mistake. Only way I will ever give it another chance or shot is if she shows me she's willing to swalow her pride and meet me half way, show me some respect. I highly doubt this woman will ever do that, so it's basically just over. And it feels good to be free of my own mental prison I had myself in. And shame on her for taking advantage of me

thanks for explaining Sara ! - a question: now that you are aware - do you see, get, or understand how this is a very weird conduct in communication and how much it differs from what normal people do, want and what makes way more sense ? - or is that very abstract and far away cause you can only think and view this from your own perspective - that of an disordered person ?....I mean as a non narcissist I can relate to the childishness in that behavior and the fear of rejection behind it is understandable too - but from the perspective of "a normal person" to break up communication, to ghost and block does't equate "oh that person is afraid of rejection" - it equates more "oh that person hasn't any serious interest in the communication, the relationship, the contact etc." - especially when done over and over and over again !....so I just wonder how the awareness does influence this now......

Hi. I had a situation like this just happen. They discarded me and blocked me. Then two months later something made me curious to look to see if I was still blocked. Anyway I was unblocked. I didn't try to reach out to them though and then I looked a week later and I was blocked again. This is the part I don't get. If it has been months since you have spoken with someone, what makes you think that the person you have blocked is going to notice that they have been unblocked by you? I know you say you're not going to reach out, but can you see that the person might not even notice that they have been unblocked to reach out to you again anyway? On and off with a man for 3 years. He’s mad I asked why he did certain things and explained how I felt about it. I don’t know if my ex is a narcissist, but she did admit in the middle of our relationship, that she emotionally manipulated me into having s** w/ her and into a relationship with her. whenever she wanted to hangout with guy friends, she’d call me names and such. whenever I caught her flirting with men online, she’d say I was the problem…. even ended up having my mothers bf as her sugar daddy. anywho, after 2 years she unblocked me on social media 4-5 months ago and changed her whole profile layout to photos that were VERY VERY specific things within our relationship. I blocked her back after she blocked me 2 years ago, because I found out about the guy (who’s she been with) was her next person. So yeah, she unblocked me and did that back in December, but I’ve remained to keeping her blocked. Any idea why she’d do that ? 😂

My question is a bit off topic but I’ve had a awful and confusing experience and I’m not sure if certain behaviours were on purpose. Would a narc ignore contact after unblocking you because you ignored them? I assume the answer to that is yes but I’d truly like to know your thoughts. I’ve not seen my ex is 2 and a half years and have “ bumped” into him three times in about the last six months. On two of those occasions I saw him in my friends pub and on one occasion he was with the latest supply. The first time I was him it was out in another bar I saw one of his flying monkeys and heard on the phone saying “ guess who just walked in.” When I went to the bar I saw my ex at a glance I could see his horrible not blinking stare and I could feel it as I was stood waiting to be served, I appreciate that could make me sound a little paranoid. As I left I heard him say “ bye darling” it was covertly done as he didn’t say my name he could have been talking to one of the friends I was with who said bye. I saw him again in my friends pub and would have literally walked into him if I’d not looked up at the last second, this time he was with the latest supply who appeared to ignore for the most part they seem to have been together for a while but I truly don’t ask about him. He tried to speak again in this covert manner were he came over to me and my friends and directed his comment to us all I completely ignored him as I had done the previous occasion no eye contact, nothing. He did other things in what seemed like an attempt to get me to talk to him or be in close proximity to me like letting me out of the pub first to go for a cigarette. He started smoking outside the front of the pub which I had done in an attempt to avoid him as he had come inside from the beer garden when I did. I do appreciate that when two people are in a pub they will cross paths but his behaviour was noted as odd and my friend kept me away from were he was as much as they could! The accidental phone call was from an old phone that’s knackered and I can’t use properly as the screen is smashed but there was some research on it I wanted to move to my new phone as I want to get rid of it. It’s so knackered I can’t believe it even made a call! This is call he ignored so my questions are am I right in thinking he did this as I’d ignored him on purpose? Did he bring the latest supply in my friends pub on purpose? We have been over years ! The last time I saw him was again in m in my friends pub on Christmas Day let’s just say it’s a safe bet I will be there Christmas Day again I ignored him no eye contact, nothing however I did nearly knock him out with the back door going outside for a cigarette and nearly knocking out with the back door but on this occasion he seemed to keep his distance. Any and all comments would be helpful as it’s crossed my mind he came in my friends pub on purpose Christmas Day he’s not a regular and he’s not been in since neither has the friend he comes in with. What does it mean if the person with NPD (or at least strong narcissistic traits) was the one who cut all contact and then suddenly unblocks you after a year? eventhough I haven’t reached out to them yet they haven’t blocked me again. (it’s been 2 months now) does it mean they’ve really moved on? I haven’t stopped liking some of their social media posts tho (weak try to show I’m still there) and am honestly considering reaching out again out of curiosity. But I don’t want to rush it so at first I wanted to concentrate on myself for at least the rest of this year. I don’t want to mindlessly run into a potentially very hurtful interaction or toxic reconciliation

Nah it's the other way around. You'll reach out to me. I thought long and hard about blocking my ex. I always had no issue being quick on the push of the button. He knew it. I knew the block was coming this last time, it was just a matter of who did it first. I didn't act. Why? I disagree with this advice. You should never reach out on someone who was so childish to block you & later unblock you than to talk things out like an adult. You block me i simply delete you & will not even notice when you unblock me. Value your self worth 🐸
