I finally made it through my first round. I'm doing Rolling 48's. Im so proud of myself. I made it 40 hours, with a 42 minute refeed. Will hit the full 48 on round 2. Thanks for the inspiration Jerome! You have inspired me to track my numbers closely and to jump in without the "start on Monday" mentality. That's why my first round was 40 hours and not 48 like I planned.
Hey Jerome. Years ago I fasted and lost about 46 lbs. My starting weight was 281+. I fit in size medium shirt and size 34 pants! Eventually my shift changed to overnight and longer shifts. I gained it back and then some. A week ago I stepped on the scale and it was 323.2. I believe my heaviest ever. I’m 5’11”. Later that day, by the grace of god, I found your channel. You opened my eyes to different ways of fasting. I started. Did a 31 hr fast. And currently at 87 hr fast. -17.3 lbs in less then a week! Later tonight I will find out my first week total loss. My plan is to give myself 12,000 calories a week. First week I ate Fri sat sun 4000 calorie limit per day. Then fast until Friday. I may switch it up every week. But gonna stay at 12000 calories per week for now. I appreciate you. Your channel is so valuable. I hope you can go full time with it at some point. Keep up the good work.
I was talking to my mum about you and even told her how much you love Brussels sprouts. I live in SEA and I’m always surrounded by amazing food. Fasting has been great because whenever I crave something, I’ll write it down on my “To-Eat” list when I break my fast (without going too crazy)
That's such a great idea! Thanks for posting that. I'm British, and often think of a cream tea (scone, jam and clotted cream). That's going on my list for Saturday.
I’m at 67 hours into my 72 hour fast. You are my inspiration! Do you have a Facebook group for your community? Would love encouragement and accountability
I love the content! I’m following a fruitarian diet/lifestyle, but I enjoy watching your videos for motivation. I, too, am someone who consumes a large number of calories in a short span of time.
I also love brussel sprouts roasted 👌🏽. I also love macadamia nuts with cashews. High cal but its very satisfying especially salted. Im almost at my goal weight. Im doing longer fasts now to heal my back too. I also do some dry to tighten skin. You are looking great. 😊❤
Would you mind showing us how you prepare your favorite meals? I pretty much suck at cooking, and your food looks delicious and while calories they are still low on carbs. Thank you :)
I understand what you are doing but I don’t want to eat everything I want. It would be way too much. I am happy you found a method that works for you, and good luck!
J Man! You gave us a "featurette" refeed, I'll take it, GREAT!🙂 We are looking and learning from what you're saying, if we have that reward of a satiating and enjoyable refeed then we can go through the sacrifice of the fasting process. Didn't expect a refeed so soon, thanks! Also, the cottage cheese surprised the heck out of me😂
Lmao. I love that you called it a “featurette”. 😂 I was trying to think of a name for it and said forget it. Cottage cheese has been one of my go-tos lately, and I’m not exactly sure how it suddenly showed up in the starting rotation
What's your exercise regime? You are an inspiration. I saw your video last month, I was fasting 16-18hrs at the time, your video inspired me to go longer. I have done my first 92hrs last week, I intend to keep it up. I realise that longer fast helps with my weightloss. I am sliwly loosing the weight but I am going carnivore on my eating days.
Greattt Channel :) I am so happy I found you ' Hey I have a question how are your bowel movements with prolonged fasting? sorry gross I know ive just been having some issues with constipation lately with keto currently doing ADF, anything you recommend?
I love this video. Thanks, Jerome. I have been following you for a few years. I put on weight during the pandemic. I went from being slim and active to overweight and sedantry, a 4st gain (56lbs or 25.5kg). I keep losing around half of what I need to and then putting it back again. It's finally dawned on me that a mindset change, plus rolling 72 hour fasts are working. Thank you for all the FREE support and guidance you provide. You're not selling any silly products either, just love and kindness ❤🎉❤ I really appreciate you as I am sure the rest of this fabulous finally fasting community does. I really am, finally fasting! 😊
About 33.5 hours into snake fast, first time since 2018 (when I did 4 days, refed maybe 600 cals, 6 days and then just never got back to fasting) Your videos are great because it's clear you understand the struggle with binging yet you persevere - regardless of the past, regardless of how much you may eat on a refeed, you're pushing ahead and you're choosing who you will allow yourself to be, and you should be proud of yourself
I first weighed myself at 219 lbs on March 27th and only began the snake fast 33.5 hours ago at about 209 lbs, having just walked a lot and reduced snacking / drinking alcohol for the month and a half prior Not sure what my goal weight should be as I'm 5'10 with a large Norwegian/viking type frame and I've always seemed to be muscular just waiting to get fit under eating and drinking too much Cannot wait to see who I am for my birthday (this is my gift to myself; waking up) on June 30th
So do you think that by eating this volume of food you are just filling the gap in your gut? When maintaining would one take that amount of pounds and try to balance it? So if you want to be 140 and your gut hold 10 lbs food 5:59 you would actually have to fast to 130?
I’m so doing this and no food firmed against me shall prosper, Does he use an app to count hours, please help I count hours with Google and it’s not convenient. Thank you
I’m with you on the satiation/binging. I can EAT. I’ve said it before, but I really appreciate seeing videos of someone who also has to practice abstinence vs moderation in food. People say you can’t abstain from food like you can from drugs or alcohol- but you can! It’s feeding windows!
I nominate Jerome to enter the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on July 4th at their store in Coney Island, NY. He needs to start practicing next week. Good luck Jerome, I know you can dethrone Joey Chestnut.
I think Jerome's stomach has built the capacity to know intuitively what is right for him. It's about finding out what works for everyone of us individually XxX
