@@Krishanapanchaal1 you burn fat when fasting and lose muscle when straving. Fasting is done intentionally with the purpose of losing fat. Starving is when you lost all your body fat and your body now uses up your muscle mass as energy.
I only wanted to lose 10 lbs... so I decided to look into intermittent fasting. Started doing OMAD beginning of May. But then I found Jerome and I really started just understanding that it is pretty straightforward when you think about it. I guess I just took to fasting pretty easy because come June I threw in two 45 hr fasts and then one 70 hr and I am already at my goal weight by 6/19. Crazy because I cannot tell you the amount of years I spent trying keto, etc and working out like crazy. Nothing really worked. And I honestly can't believe how easy this was, granted I did not have a lot of weight to lose but it's wild how I thought I was "stuck" at a certain weight. I wasn't stuck at ALL, I just didn't fully understand how the BODY works. Anyways... thank you Jerome!!!
I am LOVING the fruit/veggie balance Jeromey Rome!! Being able to balance what you love to eat with some healthier options thrown in is a huge stride for you. YESSSS!! I'm glad to see you enjoying your journey. And as usual you always come through for me with the refeed. I'm breaking my fast tomorrow. I am 52 hrs into my 68 hr fast as I'm typing this. this morning I weighed in at 137.8 LBS. Let's get it!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Awesome video as always! Very inspiring! 😁👍 That last bit towards the end of the video, I know it is said often (Imperfect Consistency) but it really deserves to be said as many times as possible because it is the KEY to success! You've sparked a change of mindset within me. Yesterday, mid-way through my fast (that was supposed to last 94 hours straight), I ate 1150kcal in 45minutes because of emotional eating (something very frustrating happened and I immediately fell back to old habit). I ate 2 slices of ham, 2 scrambled eggs with crushed hot bird-eye chilis and one small frozen ham & cheese pizza I heated in the oven... My old self would've given up and would only try again next week (maybe). But the new, current me went back on schedule and now I am currently 23 hours in, of the remaining 49 hours of fasting I had left to do. Next cycle after my actual planned re-feed, I will do my best to stick to the 90+ hours straight I've set as a goal. I'm glad I could manage, I remind myself that I did well because it could've been waaay worse than 1150kcal. I forgive myself and embrace that I am imperfect. This will not break me, this will not stop me and will be insignificant compared to my whole journey. Thanks again Jerome! 🙏
Your channel been a inspiration since I first seen a video of yours about 2 weeks ago. Instantly started fasting and now finished my second 72 hr fast and down 11 pounds already. Dealing with type 2 diabetes, keeping my sugar stable always been a mission. My numbers are better than they ever been with cutting off meds 100% since the start of my fast. THIS WORKS! Thank you so much for the motivation 🙌🏽
Keep it up! You should be able to cure your type 2 with this. Look up Dr. Fung on here as well he's a kidney specialist who uses fasting to cure his type 2 diabetes patients and gives good tips.
Hey Jerome, longtime fan here from your phone Jerome days. what happened to making phone videos are not active on that other channel anymore? I had seen you stopped posting for a while and always wondered what happened as you made great content. Hope all is well.
You probably have a higher appetite since you have way less bf to burn, but did you have to work up to be able to eat this much after a fast? I have a tiny appetite after any fast longer than 24 hours but my goal is to be able to do a proper refeed in one sitting instead of needing to eat over the course of 2+ days
