MY FIRST AND ONLY TIME WATCHING *THE MARVELS* 

I LOVE this movie. First Captain Marvel is my fave Marvel hero and she’s got such a GREAT development in this one. Started off jaded and feeling the pressure of being responsible for the universe, the weight on her shoulder and ended very much a team player, learning to trust her teammates strengths, sharing duties and accepting her guilts and mistakes to be better. Also, it’s organically fun and has one of the best choreographed action scenes in the MCU. It’s sad that people don’t watch movies based on someone else s opinion (most of them are free hate not even a formed opinion)

I'm watching this for the first tjme movie through this episode. Here we go!

6:33 “Did I get in” I think. Asking if she got into the Avengers.

Again, it underperformed not only because people didn’t see it. People didn’t see it because it wasn’t promoted. Simply as that. The only promo were pre recorded videos and trailers online. Don’t forget that the ENTIRE promotional window of the film, was taken over by the greatest strike ever in the industry. Disney didn’t want to invest more on the film because they knew the actors couldn’t even be able to travel, do press tour, talk about it, post on social Media, give interviews of ANY kind. The Marvels was THE ONLY movie without a proper marketing. They couldn’t say a word. That’s what happened. It cannot be considered a flop by any means. A flop is when you have all the tools available, all the marketing and promo.. and you fail. This is DEFINITELY NOT the case.

I’m not a young girl. I’m a 42 year old man. Married and owner of my own business, and Carol is my fave since the 90’s and I have an account since 2010 only for Captain Marvel that Brie herself follows. She wanted to meet me and she was the best person ever. and I know MANY but MANY people who idolizes her too. Men, women.. straight, gay.. See.. Steve Rogers, Peter Parker, Batman, Superman and etc are not the only ones. They don’t represent everybody. they’ve always been pretty boring to me, to be honest. I actually always wondered - how can someone put a poster of that boring character on their walls.

Funny you say Brie Larson hasn't connected to her character. I felt that way watching the trailer for Letters in Chemistry. Her acting lately feels very self aware or self conscious perhaps. Like, i can *see* her acting rather than disappearing.
