This is actually my first year wrestling, I’m actually getting out of my comfort zone a ton more. I’m not so bad as my first year but dude you amazing, this sport is pretty hard for me. I’m starting to get the hang of it.

I think it’s great that you put yourself out there like this. You are respectful when you won and you took your loss like a man. College wrestling is hard man-don’t worry so much about the losses. You’ll learn from them. And don’t worry about Divisions either. I was Div 1 and the worst I have ever been smashed was by a Div 3 wrestler named Joshua Habeck. Guy was a complete beast. He smashed all of us- Div 1-3. Look him up sometime. He was a frickin beast. He was a beast in Greco too-placing multiple times in the world team trials, etc etc. I still think he competes and he’s got to be my age (42). So divisions don’t matter all that much…especially when you get to the top of that ladder. My collegiate coach (Andy Seras) was a 4x Div 3 All American. And, back in those days, Div 3 NCAA champions could enter the Div 1 NCAA championships. He did and he won the Div 1 NCAAs too!! So he basically beat everyone! A true national champion. Then he went on to be a Greco world champion, Pan Am games champion, and Olympian. He was the head coach of the world and Olympic teams (while I was there in the late 90s and early 2000s). So, no worries about Divisions. You’re wrestling men now. You wrestled like a man and from what I can tell, you are a respectable man on and off the mat. Stick with this brother; it will be the best thing you ever do to prepare you for the rest of life’s challenges. Im looking forward to seeing more content from you.
