I clearly said I never seen any of the older movies, not because I’m fucking young, I’m old enough to know better. It was because OF MY PARENTS. Not that you guys would know anything about me but big surprise, my parents weren’t cultured or supportive of other cultures or of me so again… repeating this for the 14th time…. NO I have not seen it. YES, I am catching up. Leave it at that.
@@MJWITHOUTSPIDERMAN Relax... I didn't hear you say such, & nothing I said was negative (I thought I wrote my comment so couldn't be taken wrong but whatever)
This wasn’t directed at you specifically man lol I pinned your comment so they can see mine. I’ve gotten this question multiple times, I used your comment to reply to them. Nothing personal lol my bad 😭
The oldest Wayan brother Keenan played the mailman who kept saying "message". He also directed the movie. Their sister Kim was the over dramatic mother on the street.
Your slow because before all this weirdo stuff was being glorified we made fun of gays and it was hilarious and that’s his funny role he’s good at slow body u didn’t discover nothing new
This is a spoof of several of the African-American themed urban 'hood films... most featured are Boyz in the Hood, Poetic Justice, Higher Learning, Don't Be a Menace, Dead Presidents, Juice, Malcolm X, and many others.
In order to get the references to some of these scenes, you need to watch the movies that this is parodied from. Boyz n tha hood, menace 2 society, dead presidents and south central. Still a great reaction
First time watching, new to the page. But this was very refreshing to see. It was very easy to tell that you're on the underside, I imagine maybe no older than 22 lol. It was an absolute Joy, to see how many references you couldn't quite catch. Keenen Ivory Wayans yells out message, because in the black coming-of-age films there are usually not-so-subtle messages. The Chef was happy that the kid would be Shawn Wayans kid, not his, Dashiki is a very loose woman Bernie Mac as a cop was a parody to the stereotypical black cop. The black cop in films that is unnecessarily hard on black people. The one that usually has a white partner, basically a self-hating black man like Uncle Ruckus
@@loisthehedgehog7658 the person that created this video, the people that give a thumbs up. And the moron with the blue Hedgehog picture seemingly, that responds to a month old comment, on RU-vid. What a life you have. Thanks for taking the time
@@brandonford5993 I don’t really think the fact that your comment is one month old really makes much of a difference. I’ve replied to 3yr old comments before and gotten a reply so what are you tryna say? What a life you have to reply to someone who seemingly has no life as you yourself said. You’re so stupid it’s hilarious bruh 💀
@@loisthehedgehog7658 oh buddy... Who gives a shit? Lol you're lame regardless. You responded to 3 year old comments? Good for you, that's longer than 1 month, that makes you less lame
@MJWITHOUTSPIDERMAN It's not your fault, MJ. That was for whomever suggested it. It just would've been nice seeing you catch where each reference came from with this being a parody.
Love this page wish you could have watched menace to society, boyz in the hood, juice and higher learning before this. Those are all the films being spoofed here
@@MJWITHOUTSPIDERMAN I had just never heard somebody say the word hood in a video so many times. Not tryna be rude but it was just cringe for some reason 😂
I'm sorry to say that all the references are a bit self irony of the black culture. I don't mean the good part.... The bad parts summarized. You know certain parts of all the gang, crime etc culture. They did a lot of generalized stereotypical jokes in this one. I feel like Wayans Brothers from this ERA are actually the woke ones. As they acknowledged the certain problem in THE CULTURE. Like Thomas Sowell. Its not about the skin color nowadays. We should all learn to love each human being and not get divided in this global system we have now. Kill that dirty trait from our natural instinct of hating another tribe thing? It should be gone. But it isnt. Sadly. And the culture doesn't define skin color. Just to get the culture right. Strip it down from the wrong parts. Because let's face it every culture has those toxic old views. Let's just be fucking humans.
You should have watched all the other hood movies beforehand, this movie basically parodies them all and you would've understood the references better. It would make the movie funnier and better
Yup, if you haven't watched the other movies that this movie spoofs its not gonna be as funny since you aren't getting the references..you really just need to watch menace to society and boyz n the hood
