My First Week Of Lpn School| Is it really hard or are you not managing your time? 

My dear, I'm very proud of you!!!!!! You are a young black woman, and I root for yaw (I have 3 grown ones). Anyway, I just passed pharmacology. I'm 57 years old! I have a CNA license in 2 states, (and for 30 years!) phlebotomy, dialysis, and dental assisting. Baby I just wanted "quick fixes", but I was born to be a nurse. I took nursing in 2012 and failed miserably :(((((( BUT GOD IS GOOD! I got it this time. I did 155 as well (what you're doing now). Everything you're doing is exactly right. Testing is your main focus. Here in Iowa and Illinois, you must pass with 77%. I live in the Quad City, so IL. is 5 minutes from the bridge to Iowa and that's where I'm attending. They make you take RN pharm even if you are in LPN class, so most of the young women are bridging over now. Baby, I don't have another year and a half right now, so Ill finish practical nursing in May (God say the same) take NCLEX, and bridge over online while I'm working! Keep doing what you're doing......you got this.

It's actually good that you end up teaching others while you are doing groupwork because that is one of the things that some instructors tell nursing students to do when they are studying for exams; to pretend like you're teaching a class so you can retain information. Each person is different, but this is in fact a study tool to help students succeed!

I love how you explain your studying method and how to really pay attention to what the instructors are telling you. I'm just finished my prerequisites now getting ready to take my TEAS this month and applying to LPN school to hopefully start this fall.

I prefer Quizlet.... writing out all those cards is time consuming for me.

I would like to tell you I watched this video last year. I just started nursing school. An I had the mindset time management not hard curriculum. And I am doing VERY well. I thank you for this. I have ADHD an sitting for too long bothers me . An this virtual learning is bothering me. Hearing people not pay attention then saying they are lose

Thank you for the video. I'm starting LPN school in about 2 weeks. I've been self studying as much as possible since I got my book. Please tell me How many chapters did you do per week???? I'm also plant based, partially liquid diet too. 🤣 Watching your video gave me some reassurance. I was like, this will be my life in 2 weeks with the juice prep and flashcards haha. I was hoping there would be more update videos but I imagine you were got super super busy to even be focusing any attention on that. I hear it's going to take alot and be draining but it'll be worth it.

Thanks for all the great tips. I started school with blinders on and was only thinking of RN, but I know realize LPN is more effecient. I love that you incorporated your diet in the video. Any suggestions on how to start a plant-based diet or websites that have good recipes? Keep up the good work.

I'm currently getting my prereqs for nursing, and this has helped me immensely! Although I'm not quite in nursing yet (hopefully by January 2021) this was a huge help and has inspired me to study much harder this semester. How have your study methods improved thus far? Do you find yourself as relaxed as before now that you're further into the course?
