My Five Must-have Discs 

Just found your channel and enjoy your content. Keep it up! I just turned 70 and became aware (and addicted) to this game about 18 months ago. I lead with this because I need to throw a lot of lightweight discs. I sometimes try to hit the course with just 8 discs, but I'll trim it to 5 to answer your question. Pa4 (max weight, for putting), M4 (Air Spectrum, 150 gms), Crave (Fission,160 gms), Diamond (Opto Air,155 gms), D4 (Air Spectrum, 150 gms). Also, I can't emphasize how much I enjoy using a couple of pocket warmer during frigid temps. I have one inside my left-hand mitten at all times, and the other in my right pocket for between throws.

My dog and I prefer weather like this so we have the course to ourselves. I wear a Kuhl fleece under a hoodie and I stay warm.

Respect for getting out there even when it's cold! I'm so addicted I play nearly every day before work and even though I live in the high SW desert it's usually low 30's lately. That can feel real comfy if there's sun and no wind but nasty under clouds and wind. Thanks for the nice content!

Greetings from Minnesota. I have clothes to get me down to zero degrees but the game is disc golf survival at that point.

Thermal underarmor is my go to in NC winters, sometimes with a hoodie that is maybe a size smaller then i need so it fits tight when i throw

Hope putting putter, Pure throwing putter, Mako 3, Maul, Teebird. I think with those 5 discs I can pretty much hit the majority of lines I’d want to. And my arm is too slow to really need anything above a 7 speed. Great question 👊

My 5 discs would be my DX Wraith, Halo Leopard3, ESP Malta, Star Jay, and XT Dart

My 5 discs would be: a Lunar Wizard, a Crystal Flx Get Freaky Zone, an ESP Sol, an 500 M4, and a GStar Leopard3.

I don't throw any prodigy but its fun learning the molds through your videos. you got my subscription. If you dont mind a little unsolicited advice i wanna say it looks like your rounding a fair amount. rounding happens when your reach back is too close to your body and you have to work the disc around your body on the pull threw (instead of pulling the disc straight threw). maybe try reaching the disc away from your body more on your reach back. its actually fine if you reach the disc almost straight in front of you (kinda like if you were trying to punch someone, the same height as you, who is standing in face to face with you, right in their belly button to sternum area). this will make more room for the power pocket to happen. you will prolly see an accuracy improvement before distance gains but the distance will come. Your foot work and timing actually look pretty good. I think your a good player and i look forward to seeing more videos from you.

Maybe consider trying Friction gloves, even the warm weather ones help a lot when it's cold. Really good product, I like them so much that I use them in all weather now. Not affiliated, I swear!
