My Hero Academia - 4x5 Let's Go, Gutsy Red Riot - Reaction 

It's crazy how Fat Gum is the perfect mentor for Kirishima and Amajiki...Like Kirishima, he can be a bulldozer wall and his quirk is food related like Amajiki...also he's a great moral booster to both who have some problems in that area...perfect match up !

Kirishima is one of the characters that you slowly but steadily root for and he ends up slipping in your top 5 favorite characters. Personally, i loved him from the start.

Red Riot’s unbreakable form was definitely one of the moments I was most excited to see this arc kirishima became one of my favorite characters

Tamajiki: Has a rad name, has an even cooler code name, awesome quirk and badass character design. Also Tamakiki: Suffers from near debilitating social anxiety and insecurity. All reason why we love him.

Amajiki is based off of the authors own fear of public speaking and nervousness

Kirishima is actually one of the fan favorite characters who has some of the most fan art...I'm glad he's getting recognition

For clarification, Kirishima's normal hardening he uses every day is stronger than steel. His "Red Riot: Unbreakable" form is much stronger than that, but it only works for around 30 seconds at this point before he has to go back to his normal hardening. His hardening gets stronger with training of course, but it also gets stronger the stronger his will and mental strength.

Once you pass on One for all, the power starts fading in the previous holder. All for one pointed out that he noticed the power wasn’t in all might anymore, just the lingering dregs. All Might lost his muscle form but the muscle form let him use one for all, it wasn’t one for all.

Fun fact: if you say "RED GUN TURRET" with a Japanese accent, it sounds like "RED GAUNTLET" which makes more sense.

It was at that moment Red Riot became everybody's top 5 favorite character

So that opening with the two villains was animated by the same guy that did the Deku vs Todoroki fight and Bakugo flying through the air

This episode is pretty special to me. I'm a big fan of the strength of a good defense, but you almost never see characters that have defensive abilities that are all that prominent. So, seeing a character who's whole thing is defense is pretty awesome. And having that character being a wall between civilians and a threat just adds to that awesomeness.

Hell yeah, so proud of my boy Kirishima. This bit of development was really satisfying, and I hope this show gets to other characters in a similar way eventually.

Oh did Season 4 do wonders for Kirishima, nice to see him get spotlight after being somewhat the bridesmaid in the last 3 seasons (He attacked Shigaraki at USJ but missed, had the Ultimate battle of Manliness in S2 but lost to Bakugo, S3 he was key to saving Bakugo but only because he couldn't do anything) and we get another quirk evolution Also Tamaki's quirk is awesome but it does pose a lot of moral questions on how far you can take it, Nejire's quirk seems cool but they don't really explain it a lot. Also Fatgum is a cool character. It did amplify the dude's quirk, but at first I thought it was Moonfish's quirk too Passing on OFA would be like lighting a candle but giving away the torch, the candle will run out eventually but the holder of the torch will continue burning strong You can be vegan and use Manifest Answers come with patience guys...

Kiriashima demonstrates something refered to as Quirk Progression in comparison to the the drug that augments ones quirk for a short time. Anyone can progress their quirk through hard work and practice.

Judging by what we see later, Tamaki probably could manifest straight iron, but a) He'd need to train to do it specifically, and b) It wouldn't be steel, it'd be just straight iron. So like, basically, he COULD do it, but it'd probably come less naturally and be less effective than other options.

Tamaki's quirk is amazingly strong, one of the few that are strong by themselves, it's anything is eats so it's not limited to food so if he ate an iron bolt then he would be able to turn a part of his body into iron.

Fat Gum at least for me is one of those characters who even though I know it’s Gohan, the character is so different that I can’t even picture Gohan when I see him. It happens a lot with Justin Briner a lot as well

Kirishima's own muscular moment

The drug that the guy with the blade quirk uses is called Trigger, which is basically just a Quirk steroid. It was actually introduced in the spinoff manga *My Hero Academia Vigilantes*, and the author decided to bring it into the main story, which is really neat. The rest of the show doesn't really dive too much into Trigger compared to the other drug seen in this episode, the little bullet capsule that Suneater got hit with, but man, I really wish Vigilantes would get an anime adaptation so it can explore the Trigger storyline in more depth.

Kirishima is one of those character that everyone can't help but love and cheer

You guys should read My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. It takes place before the events of MHA and its sort of a side story too. Some connections they have to the anime is the quirk amplifying drug, Fat Gum, and Aizawa, before he became a teacher.

Kirishima becomes one of the best characters in this episode and later in the arc, that moment is just iconic.

My Hero Part 4: Red Riot is Unbreakable

I didn't even notice it was gohan I just kept hearing kiba lol.

Now we have the big 3 quirks...one thing i noticed, their quirk are not naturaly strong, they needed a lot of training to get to that level of control...At first i thought Hado had a natural control, but her mentor clearly state she's improved her attack method, meaning she must have problem with the control of her energy wave...I think all of class 1A can get to their level with the right amount of training and some changes to their costumes !

Unbreakable was a highlight for me this season. One of the real epic moments! And character development for Kirishima (and also Bakugo).

The power can be passed down to just one person that's why choosing the right one is so important.

One thing I find amusing is that in the two video games based on this series the two ones' justice. Both of them hardening is one of the best quirks as it gives you super armor, you can just never be stopped least in the first game. I mainly played shoot style deku in the second one

Suneaters quirk, as it's explained, allows him to transform his body or parts of it into whatever he eats. Even going down to the specifics of what is in what he eats and how much of each thing manifested he wants, he just needs to know that it's there and he actually ate it.

I literally don’t know who my favorite character is but everytime I watch this episode kirishima becomes my immediate favorite

With Suneaters quick, I think that you would only be able to manifest things that your body could actually digest, at least that's what makes sense to me. So, eating rocks wouldn't actually do anything because your body can't digest them. I could be wrong though, it's been a while since I've watched the show so I don't remember if they mention anything about that.

Tamaki’s Quirk grants him the ability to manifest the physical characteristics of anything he's eaten; for example, if he eats takoyaki, he can transform his fingers into octopus tentacles. The more of a substance Tamaki eats, the stronger his manifestation will be. He can only manifest the traits of substances that are still in his system, and loses access to those traits once the substance is fully digested. He needs to resupply his Quirk every day and needs to decide on what foods to eat beforehand.
