Thank you for posting, very relevant and timely. I am in the US and drove one yesterday at the Ineos event. I was so impressed with the cockpit, the seats, the engine / transmission combination. Currently driving a Jeep Gladiator Mojave and I will be buying a Grenadier. Had no idea of the lockable storage at the spare! Thank you again -

your jeep is a nice ride as well!! I am really happy with the car. of course not everything is perfect but i couldn´t find anything that really bothers me. that storage in the spare wheel is really nice! already use it for plenty of stuff - and it all stays dry and clean (as clean as u put it in there ;-))

@@grenadier_exploring Thanks G_E - do you know the brand of the winch by any chance? I think it makes sense to order it to have it fully integrated vs doing (and waiting for) an aftermarket. Agree 100% with rock sliders over steps, will follow your lead on that, too. Side note - do you have any regrets on anything that you wish you would have gotten and why? So thankful for your channel

@@mitchellfoster it is a RED Winch. I only have one regret so far: i should have ordered two grenadiers 🤣😆!!! honestly: no regrets. I ticked most of the options and i am happy i did. I would love to have a bull bar but it's not available in Europe. I am getting a aftermarket (customised) roof rack due to the safari windows - just got the first designs! I will report on that as well. until now i am happy with my choices....

Thanks for that, looks well used already. I think your smile says it all. I have been waiting for the Grenadier since it was announced prior to the lockdown! Unfortunately, we carry up to six working gundogs, so a pickup is the only option for us. Have seen pictures of it but no further details yet. Grenadier seems to be properly designed for people who need a utilitarian 4X4, can't wait.

Your concern is understandable, but even so the fix should be very easy - simple replacement of rubber sealing. Should be nothing as it can be removable.

i had my doubts as well and i heard that they had issues in the beginning on the prototypes. they assured me that they are fixed during #TheHardWayHome in Morocco. so far - mine a tight!! I really like them (and my girlfriend as well - she normally hates sunroofs)!! They come with a nice bag (with foam to protect them) to store them if u take them out. Congrats on your Grenadier and 'Hard Way Home' experience! Wife & I greatly enjoy our Colorado Rocky Mountains and live in a foothill area at 7,500ft. We reserved a Grenadier last summer and attended a prototype drive event here last week. We weren't disappointed, that is except for missing the diesel option as our BMW X5's E70 has served us well for 12 years now. Sure, I understand this diesel decision was BMW USA's choice to stop importing diesel into N America markets and not Ineos. Your vehicle's specs are vey similar to our thoughts with couple additions. We' enjoy alpine skiing with our grandkids. Our ski mountains are typically 1 or 2 hours highway drive. So, we're interested in how Grenadier handles on snowy/icy highways. Also, we currently carry skis in a long roof cargo box to keep them clean & secure. Do you ski, and if so how do you transport them? Cheers
@nickpeters-yg4fp
@nickpeters-yg4fp Год назад
What length are your skis? They won’t fit inside if you have the grandkids in the back seat. Ineos have a ski holder roof rack accessory
@kilocharlie6830
@kilocharlie6830 Год назад
@@nickpeters-yg4fp Thanks Nick - Yeah, every seat's taken on our ski days. Looks like Rhino's open ski rack's available on their 2 bar roof system. These open ski rack's work but aren't ideal. We're frequently freeway driving thru a fog of road salt & grim. Our CDOT usually does a great job keeping Colorado's roads at least somewhat driveable in the most outrageous winter conditions, but it's not a ski 'n binding friendly environment. The roof cargo box we presently use is 7 feet long x 2 feet wide. Perhaps I can use this box with Rhino's bars. Heck, BMW may have re-branded Rhino's on the setup we currently use.. Cheers

Hello KC! What a nice place to live!!! I had a BMW X5 M50d until last year as well. loved the engine and the car... I had the chance to drive the Grenadier a few times on snow and the handling was really nice - the KO2 tires performed well. I do ski a lot (only 5mins to the ski resort) and currently I have my skis in a large ski-bag at the 40% part of the rear seats. they fit in perfectly but without passengers in the rear (only one proper seat left) and just a dog in the cargo. So in your case I would suggest a mounting option/box on the roof.

I assume I am not the only one trying to decide between an Ineos Grenadier and the new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser that was just revealed this week, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, or the Ford Bronco badlands (to name a few) and was wondering if you had a similar experience and if you could do a video discussing your thoughts on the matter and how you eventually narrowed your choice down to Loki. Thank you so much!

i am sure there are many people out there with the same “problem”! for me it was a combinationof different factors like availability on the european market, emotional connection, to have something new and rare, the looks, the preference/liking of some components…. i will definitley come back to that in a future viedeo. I also want to compare the Grenadier to other cars in small tests/reviews with their owners!

Could you please post what the Paylod rating on your vehicles compliance plate is? This was the exact spec vehicle I had reserved but asked for a refund as in Australia the Ineos reps were saying 689kg Payload without winch (and they didn't have info regards weight of fitted winch when I test drove the pre production model) either way 689kg was too low for my needs let alone subtracting the additonal weight of fitted winch. But curious as to what your payload is as it stands. Thank You, hope you have a great run with it.

i know it under the name "airline rail". The passenger seats are secured on those as well. there is quite a few companies out there offering accessories like tables, hooks, jerry can/recovery board holders, molle plates etc that you can attach. i am designing a roof rack for the greandier and i will fit some airline rails as well to pick up the "theme" ....plus they are handy. and: there are two rails in the cargo floor as well!!
