Absolute banger of a truck! We’re looking at one as our main mountain car. I wish the diesel came to North America but the N58 is a good motor as well 🤘🏽
@@Trypl3_C I love the diesel but I only hear good things about the N58. Sound and tuning options are great as well. I bet you‘ll enjoy it. Where are you living/for which mountains do you want it?
hi. i think iyou are referring to the point where i say 80 but mean 18 (corrected it via text). there is a video with all the dimensions and the completed drawer system online as well. it's the "My Ineos Grenadier - 15.000km check and updates" starting at 3:55. here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O4biMFsZUzg.htmlsi=lsx8F6sjf8EcwMPU
hallo. das sind die Rockslider von BlackSheep Innovations mit den Alu Trittstufen! Bin sehr zufrieden damit weil sie sehr robuste, echte Rockslider sind und mit den Trittstufen auch echt praktisch!
Great video. Just got mine Fieldmaster few days ago - great car, much better drive than Toyota Hilux 2024 ( which I am planning to sale ) in any aspect, even for turning in tight spaces. Some software glitches are appearing also in mine. Very comfortable for long run. Very enjoyable to drive. From my side the only item which kind of bother me some time is the noise of the Air Compressor - it is not loud but is constant, mainly noticeable on low speed with open windows. Hopefully I will keep the car for a long period :-)
happy to hear that you are satisfied. the software gliches will disappear eventually (i hardly have any) and i am confident that there will be updates regarding things that aren't perfect (f.e. TPMS sensor change). I think it's a perfect car (with it's limitations) and a very enjoyable ride which always puts a smile on my face.....
Hi. I definitely would do it again!! Also exactly in the same configuration as I ordered it. I still love the car and it's a joy to drive every day. no matter if it's as a daily driver, hauling trailers, working in the woods with the winch, going off-road or overlanding. I have and had really nice cars including sports cars and convertibles.....the Grenadier is something very special. Of course not everything is perfect but it is good, reliable, built to last and has some really nice features. the engine is great as well and there are many possibilities to customize it. The big advantage now is, that there are so many aftermarket products and accessories. I didn't have a lot to chose from and had to wait or develop/design it on my own. You probably have seen the current status of my car and all my toys and parts....only missing a few inches of lift and a protection for the fuel tank, which I definitley wanna get after driving off-road quite a bit (as mentioned in my "How To? - Eposide 06").
thx a lot!! the pants are "Mustang Style BeFlex Cargo". The Jacket is a special version of the "Carinthia G-LOFT ISG 2.0 Jacket" (the front is slightly modified for a military request by a special unit). But in general it's the one you can find in the link: www.carinthia.eu/en/isg-jacket-p1717/ little disclaimer: the Jacket is part of my sponsoring. hope that helps 😉
Hello Ingmar, I will then take off the snorkel that came with my trialmaster. If it is just a huge piece of plastic that is of no use to me in Europe (Luxembourg), I rather have a cleaner looking car. Our dealer (Hedin Group) does only exactly what comes officially from Ineos. Other companies such as Matzker, Black Sheep,… are much more advanced in looking for solutions or improvements. Thank you for sharing Cheers
got your point!! I like what Matzker and BlackSheep produce. I am super happy with the Rockslider/Sidesteps and Molle Panels for the rear windows from BlackSheep! 😎💪🏻
your girlfriend's english is excellent, thank you. Great to get a woman's perspective. And I particularly liked it when she threw a shaka while she was driving :)
i thought I answered already but obviously, the message didn't go through. Thanks a lot, I will relay the message to her!! I liked that as well and she really enjoys driving the Grenadier....
hi dave. there‘s one already online where I talk about the drawers at 3:55: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V92uTgFmLVE.htmlsi=_XWfDQFBB9ZCc98w another one, including the whole overland setup is „My Ineos Grenadier - Ready for our next Adventure“ and last but not least, the one from the manufacturer (that‘s the most detailed): „Tailgate Gear - Grenadier Trialmaster Walk-Around“ also featuring me and Thor…
i did reverse but that was not caused by the turning circle. just had to donit during loading/offloading. with the wide trailer no problem. a nice feature: the rear pdc is turned off automaticaly when there‘s a trailer attached
Ingemar, your How To's are extremely helpful. I saw that you have the speed warning set at "OFF". Can that be saved as a Favorite so that you can just punch Favorite when you start up and the speed warning is diasbled without going through the entire menu?
thx a lot!!! i don‘t know that by heart and Loki is not with me currently (am out of the country) but as far as I remember: there is a certain set of possible selections for the „FAV“ button. don‘t believe the speed warning is part of it. but it should stay in the last selected position despite engine shut down.
Thank you Ingemar. I plan on picking up my grenadier in two weeks. Very excited. When I do I’ll ask them about it. If there is a trick or software update that can permanently shut it off I will let you know.
The fit and finish looks amazing! I really, really like it. Have you measured the overall height after installation? I’m very curious to find out. Thank you!
thanks a lot. yes, I have! the rack only adds 5cm to the height. So we are still below 2,1m (which is the limit of many car park garages). I haven't measured with the bigger tires though....let me do that today ;-)
haven´t tried that. it seems to require a little more effort since the screws are behind some panels etc.! but i have seen the backrests removed on the internet. maybe you find info about that on theineosforum.com
How did The Ineos Grenadier come to fruition? Well see, some British Billionaire Business Magnet had a peculiar life long obsession with Land Rover. However, when Land Rover. (The legendary automaker that wasn’t for sale to begin with) refused this Angry Billionaires hostile offer to buy them. Well, yeah. Here’s that billionaires screwed up take on not being able to buy Range Rover. Introducing, whatever this thing is.
as far as I know, he only wanted to buy the Land Rover Defender production. Luckily, they refused. I am very happy that he built his own toy and as a by-product I/we are able to buy it. "This thing" is exactly what I wanted and so far I am quite satisfied with it. And it compares very well to other "real off-roaders". Surely, not everyone likes it, but that is normal... You should give it a try...really nice to drive.
@@grenadier_exploring Yes I believe you are correct. He only wanted to buy the Defender tooling. They wouldn’t sell, so he built a better one. I just saw one today in central California. First one I’ve seen. Up close it is stunning! I want one!👌
Great video! My cars Pathfinder system, GNSS shows in red and compass is not working at al. Do you have any information on it, like how to reset or calibrate the system?
hey. that was at the “Allradfreigang” at Aspang. it’s a twice a year event in an active mine. the side panels are from hgm-rack.at they are an add on to the roof rack i developed together with that company. (got some vids online dedicated to those)
I've taken a prototype offroad in FL and driven one on the highway and suburbs in Georgia for almost an hour. Great vehicle. I agree the longer range on a tank would be really great.
Hey, thanks for the video! Could you please advise me how to turn off the diff locks, the light keep blinking and doesn't turns off! Thanks in advance!
Hello. In my Video "How To - Episode 06" I talk about this issue. In short: blinking doesn't mean the lockers are still engaged. it means that the car hasn't sensed a difference in wheel spin yet and couldn't confirm the dis-engagment. doing a (few) turn(s) should stop the blinking. 👍🏻
I have the HGM rack, which I designed and developed together with the company since there was nothing on the market when I got my Grenadier (since I was the first customer). www.hgm-rack.at
Is in the HMI really a message when you do start the bleeding process? Either there is no message or I do something wrong to start the process. I do have the B57 Diesel engine
when I tried it, the messages were shown! But you never know with the updates if something changed (like the nice torque dirstribution screen that is gone now 🤷🏼♂️). Let me check it again once I am back home...
Ok thank you for checking 🙏 in this case I do something wrong. Lucky this weekend I’m at a grenadier Offroad meeting maybe somebody can show me how to do it 😅
External power switches - What does EXT1 power up, I don't think you mentioned that? I cannot find any information about these switches in the user manual so your video is a great source of information. Thanks
Hi. I should have said "the remainng switches EXT 5&1 are powering the outlet under the bonnet". Sorry. those two cables are directly next to each other in the engine bay. If you need pictures, email me grenadier.exploring@gmail.com
Just love to watch stock Grenadiers off roading. I am keeping mine stock for a few years before I do some minor suspension and tire upgrades. I am having fun as it is.
Hi. Thank you so much for all these videos. Really helpful. After watching I have the same HGM-Rack on delivery so thank you. Can I ask pls. The light bar - was it easy to fit onto the roof rack and do you recommend a particular one that will be easy to install? Thank you!
the lightbar i am using was super easy to install. i used the provided brackets (just had to bend them slighlty) and that's it. the provided cable and plug fit to the outlet on the right forward side on the Grenadier's roof. I am really happy with the bar. price is reasonable, quality ok and the output amazing...used it a lot up in scandinavia! I got the Auxbeam 52" Pro lightbar auxbeam.com/collections/led-light-bars-by-series-5d-pro-series/products/zd000681 You would get another 15% off with my code GEG2
Great little videos but please please go back and but the topics in the titles! Would be so much more helpful for viewers and should help you pop up in more searches!
Had it confirmed today by my local dealership. Following the software update, we no longer have the nifty screen presentation when in off road mode. A pity. Hopefully they will reinstate it.
@@grenadier_exploring . .
Finally something close to Jeep Rubicon capability but with much more Towing and payload and not having unreliable funky independent air suspension like a defender. Meaning that the defender can tow a lot and can be very capable but comes with stupid huge wheels, has poor articulation and way too much computerized and Air technology. It would be like if Jeep made a larger Rubicon that was a little more heavy duty from the factory.
