Have you ever covered the lewiston idaho area? You surly know Walt's wife was from the area and they were married and had a home that still stands in Lewiston idaho. I dont know the acess to the area but i do know the locations.
I must say not being much of a driver I totally enjoy these road trips and the sites that I would never see in my life. I also got my stickers so Adam is a man of his word I think that still means something in this world. Keep up the great work!
Yes, I received my 3 stickers 2 days ago and promptly posted an image to facebook and them put them in a small frame! YAY Adam the Woo, man of his word and many talents. 👍
The sights and sounds of an American road trip, love it, think your coffee incident has happened to most of us, love how you can entertain us whilst entertaining yourself 😂 love these trips Adam Thankyou
The talking coffee cup sequence is testament to the boredom one encounters while driving through most or any parts of Wyoming. There are some great things to see along the Lincoln Highway however, including Abe himself.
In 1971, over 50 years ago, I drove west on I 80 through Wyoming and Utah on my way to California. I enjoyed watching the landscape as you drove by, knowing I drove past those same geographic features so long ago.
Just wanted to say Thank you Adam for sending me some pins and stickers and providing the U.S.A. postage, I did not think hey he cant send my envelop back with Canadian stamps, I'm very grateful, thanks again and be safe in those winds :)
Adam, that rest stop where you can get out and look at the salt flats before going into Wendover, there's an access ramp that you can drive down and literally drive your car on the flats themselves. I was planning on going to Wendover today, oddly enough. Safe travels sir!
Love seeing where you go. Hang on to your hat. That wind is awful as we well know in Oklahoma. This has been the windiest on record here. Have a great time. Safe travels Adam and always thanks for sharing👍
Fun! I’m in Utah. Made the WY drive many times. The “great salt lake” is not so great anymore. They are building so many houses, and diverting all the water from the winter run off from the mountains for consumption and lawns, the lake is disappearing.
Done that drive many a Time! My father-in-law lived outside Cheyenne, Wyoming for time and we went out to visit him every summer. Love that you stopped at the Lincoln rest stop. As a history teacher, it's one of my favorites! Next time you're in Laramie you've got to check out the Territorial Prison. My wife and I almost got married there!
I love your travels, Adam the Woo! You just went through some of my favorite states. Plus, you handled the Wyoming winds really well. I was thinking on the way back from the west coast to stop at a national park of your choosing, like Yellowstone or something, but only if you choose to. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
Some of us can only take very few road trips due to being on the ever so depressing hamsters wheel. You sir provide us with a moment of sanity with your videos. It's like we're riding shotgun with you. Keep up the awesome content
Another great one, Adam.. I got intrigued by some of those works of art, and structures you came upon. At least we see trains, and trucks carrying our needed goods... Beautiful scenery, but so few people, except at gas stations and little, variety stores. I'm glad you have us to talk to...🛣🤠👏👏
Hello Adam, I continue to follow your journeys, Amazing all that you are seeing. Great locations & unusual things you have been sharing. Thank you for the pins & stamps, I got them on Friday. Now I am watching you leave them on your stops, they look great. Hope you got another coffee 🤗 God Bless you 🙏🏻
So cool that you stopped in Laramie yesterday to get gas. Hope you come back this way sometime. So much history in the town of Laramie & the surrounding areas. Would love to collaborate with you on a video if you come back through this way. Safe travels to you Adam 🙂
*Welcome to Wonderful Windy Wyoming, the land of the sunlight clear.* In Wyoming it's not unusual at all to get 100+ MPH straight-line winds. It's so normal that they don't even mention it on the nightly news. *50mph is a gentle summer's breeze...* If you would care to learn more about Wyoming, please visit my list, "Wyoming". I added this video to it.
Adam on this whole drive the scenery was incredible so beautiful it took my breath away and seeing the train going by with such a gorgeous background was a sight for sore eyes 👀 also thanks for taking the time to document things off the main road even though you had so many miles to travel but at least you made it to your destination safely now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next Road Trip Adventure wherever it takes you also please be safe out there peace ☮️ out ✌️
Another fantastic video today Adam.It was so interesting to see all these places where I've never been to.Im loving ❤ ur videos! Thanks for sharing your road adventures with us! I love seeing all the neat things on a road trip. Spilling hot beverages on my lap is my least favorite and it happens far too often. Thanks for sharing gas prices along the way too! We’re taking a big road trip from Kansas to California in a few weeks and we’ll be towing our camper. Nice to get prepared for the gas $$ we’ll spend.
Adam, I got super excited when I seen the route you took! I am also travelling and I was on I-80 in Wyoming and I went to Utah and Nevada and now I am in California, I seen everything you seen! That is so awesome! Also thanks for making me laugh when you spilled your coffee...
When you watch the channel long enough that you see all the stickers on the fence and scream at the monitor "Dude! You need an Adam the Woo sticker to add to it!" moments before the sticker makes its appearance. Love your road trip vids! Happy trails! Stay safe!
I’m from Utah. Loved seeing you pass through. If you ever get a chance to go through southern Utah do it. So much to see. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Safe Travels 😀
The video brought back great memories for me, riding in a Greyhound bus on the way to Arkansas, I had to ride that bus all the way down from Washington to visit my family. The three things I remember most about going down the road with 4 feet of snowbanks on each side of the road in Idaho, and Wyoming, were they had 3-foot snowbanks but they just shoveled it out to the stop sign to keep the bar open. And finally, Utah and the best view of the Rockies outside of Colorado. Quite a long road trip, but it was well worth it.
Hi Adam, u are in my hometown of Elko! I was born and raised here and it's crazy to see u traveling through considering we are such a small town. Welcome! I hope u enjoyed ur stay. We have a Pony Express stop here too, although probably a little too late to let u know. Safe travels and God bless :)
What a nice surprise in my mail yesterday. I had given up that my envelope got lost in the mail. I mailed it the next day after your announcement. I wasn’t surprised that a lot of people had asked to get your stickers. Thank you for the stickers. I wasn’t expecting 3 of them. It as a nice surprise. Thank you again and enjoying your trips. Stay safe. Miss you in CA but understand it is better for you to be near your sweet parents.
Love your videos bro, even the spilled coffee aww man that's real life travel tragedy right there. Anyway, hope you get a chance to take a train like Amtrak sometime and film all the nostalgia. Be blessed brother, and if you ever come through Tucson you always got a place to stay if you ever need it. 😊
I drove across I-80 Wyoming, Nebraska just last week. 60 mph winds, ice and snow in Wyoming. I'm in an 18-wheeler so I had to shut down in Elk Mountain Wyoming
Welcome to windy Wyo 😁🤩..My husband is an Engineer for UPRR..He goes from Cheyenne to Green River ..That manifest train headed to Salt Lake..was at Cheyenne depot..when he got his train ..Thursday night ...Great vlog Adam 😁👍
I was hoping you would show a little of Salt Lake City :( The tall sculpture off of I-80 is Metaphor: The tree of Utah. It was created by Karl Momen a Swedish artist and sculptor. He was driving that part of I-80 (which is the straightest and flattest stretch of Highway in the U.S.) one day, when he realized how easily it would be to fall asleep at the wheel in that area. So he created that sculpture to help drivers stay awake. The six spheres represent the six most natural elements found in Utah. The spheres are also coated with those elements. The large "smile" on the ground was a piece that had previously fallen off. The fence is now surrounding it to prevent anyone from getting injured or killed by falling pieces.
Just got your stickers in the mail!!! Tysm!!! We love them. My 7 yr old stole one and said “I’m putting this on my tablet cuz Adam is so cool” I couldn’t agree more ;) Thanks again for the merch and amazing vids dude 👍🏼😀
thanks that was a great ride, full of memories, I used to own a grocery store in Wendover 1985-1998 that tree you were at was built in the 80s, I just subscribed to a group of people that gamble in there so I see the tree almost every day, they call it the pee tree, I guess that's where they stop and pee, toss coins towards the tree and put locks on the fence for good luck I really enjoy going on these trips with you and your buying all the gas, thanks Adam
I drove into Gillette WY last Friday not knowing a snowstorm was approaching. was stranded at the best western for three nights as interstate 90 was shut down. It was so fierce with 60 MPH winds you couldn’t even go outside.
When you said you had coffee down the front of you I laughed so hard 🤣😂 I almost fell off the seat. I said well that will warm you up. 😂 I love to go on road trips with you. It is a blast. You can keep me company any time.
When my grandfather was a kid, he rode what later became Interstate 80 in a covered wagon with his uncle who was a migrant farm worker. They would head west from Council Bluffs to the West Coast bringing in crop after crop. Mind you, they were in a covered wagon while automobiles drove past them.
@@TheDailyWoo I like how you do these trips. Small towns...out of the way places...intriguing scenery...then finding the vintage station wagon, old picnic benches and wondering when the last time someone used it. So many things to enjoy on the Holiday Road.
@@daviddunn5648 from national lampoons vacation when he drove off the road into the air and landed Chevy said they must have flown at least 50 yards, very funny.
Adam, really enjoyed your vlog! Choctaw Bongo at the time (now Choctaw Casino and Resort) flew my Mom and stepdad Jim back in the early 2000's out to Elko Nevada for bingo. Thank you for taking me to places I'll never get to see! Looking forward to your next vlog
Down here in Vegas….welcome to Nev-Adam-ah! When you said, “beautiful country” I couldn’t help but think of the same line from the John Hughes classic “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” Safe travels amigo!
Great vids Adam! Question -->> Do you enjoy covering so much ground on a single day? When I drive cross-country, I have to peel myself out of the car after just 6 hours .. .. How do you do it??
It always makes me laugh that in N.J we are not allowed to pump our own gas!! Gas prices are around 4 bucks depending on gas station or area!! Happy Sunday the first of May Adam!! Go west! Thank you! Love the scenery!!
Whenever we are on our way home from visiting my wife's family in NJ, we always stop and get gas before leaving because A.) They pump the gas for you and B.) Pennsylvania gas is always 25¢/gal more due to the insane gas tax.
We drove our RV travel trailer thru NV, UT & WY heading east a few years ago in mid May. Really glad we didn't encounter these kinds of wind gusts. Happy your feet stayed firmly planted on the ground.
