You are a great speaker and I left 35 years ago, it took that long to get the brain washing out of me. Your two girls are the most important in your life they need there sad always. Be stronger for them. I have been where you are my two boys kept me going. I'm 66 years old now, my kids thank me every day that I left the jw,s. Will think of you often. Oooo hugs😊

What a testimony brother! I’ve listened to hundreds of videos since the pandemic, I got out as a teenager with all trauma that came with that and never looked back but, yeah, sooo many similarities it’s crazy…not being able to play team sports when at my age (im 54 now) that was all there was…Im old now I’ve done a bunch of stuff and still do, working on doing a full Ironman triathlon soon and like yourself I have two daughters, thank you for sharing brother God bless 🙏

Wow, so powerful! Nothing else to say! soooo much needed to ear this! Yeap, God has judged this organization. All of the nasty behavior of the so called truth is being exposed. Really who would want to live forever in their so called paradise. When they make live a living hell.

What we exjw hear is actually the same reasons of what we had to endure. But each of us have our feelings, the tears that we had to go through. Thanks for sharing.

I am so glad I didn't grow up in a JW 2-parent household. My father was a Witness, mother not. I would go to church with Mom sometimes and to Kingdom Hall with Dad at times. Probably by middle school (around early 60's) I had decided to hang around the JWs and KH ecclusively as I had a brother attending there and Aunty and lots of cousins and I thought it more Bible centered. In listening to you and many others raised strictly in THE LIE I am so very happy I wasn't raised in it, but rather around it. My association was not mandatory but voluntary. I decided to get baptized at 15. Of course, the organization then thought my life was theirs. That invisible contract with the Society was maybe the biggest mistake of my life. It did have many negative consequences. I am getting much needed therapy from the trauma of being a baptized JW for about 10 years in the 60's and 70's thru channels like yours, that I have only recently found. I've not had anyone to talk to or share my experiences with before. Life is so much better away from the craziness of JW mandates. Praising God rather than the Governing Body is optimal. I hope you find much joy in living now.

They accused you of blasphemy? They are NUTS. I am sorry your congregation friends had only conditional love for you. Forgive them - they are terrified of being disfellowshipped and shunned. Becoming an elder would probably be your worst nightmare. You were born a thinker and wouldn't do well in a "yes" man culture.
