For me it was a bucket list of a car. Like you, I never imagined I'd own one. Mines a 2016 blue Chevrolet SS M6. Makes all the right sounds👍 More commodore content please!
Also, can we all just take a second to appreciate that straight up skyporn that good ol' mother mature brewed up for our boi here while he was filming? Such a banger sunset for a car reveal/feature 👌🏻
Love those Holdens with the LS motor 🤘🔥 I'd love one after my P plates, probably a VZ or a VE. I currently drive a little naturally aspirated six cylinder FG-X ute but she goes good for now, and she's manual so I can't complain. Beautiful, awesome car my dude! 💯🔥
bro sick car never thought you'd own a Holden 👌 my mrs nan just turned 70 & she has a black vf gts with the supercharged lsa lol...fastest car I've ever driven
Driving without the traction control is part of the fun, leave stability on incase it gets wild I normally do that, I love the rears turning thou adds some fun to it
Nice, ls3 engines are so simple to get big power out of I've done big cam setup on mine and now currently fitting a harrop 2300 on it, good choice finally seen the light ay bro 👊👌
Congrats on the cool ride man, I really like the white colour. I bought the 430kw Super Charged GTS back in 2015, it's a beast lol. And your right it's a very tidy investment for sure, value has gone through the roof over the last few years. Not sure how many km you're has but if you can keep them down you will always get a good resale price. In the mean time enjoy the ride and keep it straight 👍
congrats on new car :) re house, another option, buy some land, build a 4/6 car garage, put a 30ft static caravan on it, leave space for to build a house over time etc :)
Fucken awesome bro. Been a follower for a few years and never thought you'd take the V8 route. I just sold my E3 clubby wagon and I'm missing it now lol
The VFII is the only Holden to have gotten the LS3, they had previously been reserved for the HSV's as a means to make the brand a more exclusive purchase option for the additional cost of them along with brakes and a few other upgrades as well. Due to Holden's closure in 2017, mutual agreement made it possible for the last ever Holden Commodore V8's to go out in style with that beautiful ls3 motor. Best for last as they say.
Congrats. My wife, yes my wife has a stock 2016 Redline in Nitrate Silver, affectionatley called "Rocky". I admit when I do get to drive it and get on it, it's more than I can handle, but it always puts a smile on my face. Only problem is it chews through rear tyres with all that torque. Currently looking to replace worn out Hankook ventus S1 evo's. What tyres do you run?
That's sick! I got my vz maloo r8 factory manual around about 2 months before hsv closed its doors and its already worth like 10k more then I got it for, currently parked up coz I got too trigger happy on the motorway and now I have to save and fix it 🤣🤣 I will though, I'll never sell it
I had a hire car SV6 on a holiday in NZ and ran around doing 225kph on the backroads around Christchurch airport. Good times. V8's must be scarier. Nearly forgot, did 240kph in a turbo 4 cylinder Commodore over there as well recently. Just when Holden made good cars they folded. Shame...
Nice man love my one 2016 as well in the jungle green just don't have the work done yet eventually when I have the spare cash ill be all in. For now its in the garage keeping the kms low the price high lol
Ive got a 2013 ssv redline and on Thursday im getting 2017 series ii. I cant wait having 2 of these bad boys parked in my garage next to each other. Mad car bro
Yep been there done that. Sounds good on the outside...... Same stuff cammed etc (I did my own). Actually changed mine twice because the first one I was going to add a supercharger and decided against it, so I threw in a more suitable cam. Unforuantely there was a XR6T with a big turbo being a bit of a dhead in traffic one night when my brother was in the car with me, so I caught up and was beside him at some lights (told him to have a crack and he was up for it - he thought he'd walk me). Absolutely destroyed the ford (gapped), unforunately a flash followed (speed camera), lost me licence. I wasn't familiar with the area and I was tired (felt like an idiot.... had to phone the woman eek) Decided to sell it after that too tempting and needed a 7 seater anyway. Gotta say I don't miss the fuel consumpion or the rego costs.... definately miss the power but Australia's such a nanny country, you can't do nothing in this stupid country.
Hey, very nice VFII, sounds very nice and you have binned the Crome for black on the front, side panels and back, looks perfect. Just all black and white. I have owned mine since new for 5 years now all stock, only done 14500k, and the only difference is I have a third pedal. Every car has been a manual. Great car, cheers.
Nice, great car and congrats, maybe a shame it's auto but then it's good it's auto for towing. Ps that number plate is cool, and kinda appropriate for the current world status.....
Hey welcome to the club bro 😎 In January 2016 I went looking for the same car however the demand was so great nothing was available, (I wanted white also). As luck may have it I came across a brand new white 2015 340kw HSV Clubsport for virtually the same change over price. At the time the new LSA Clubsport were being introduced. It’s a shame Holden had to go. It would have been exciting to see what they would have produced now.
