Oh yes please! I'd love to see a demo of how you set up levels, not so so much how to build them, but ideology. How do you arrange it so that Hammy gets a space for nesting, and burrowing and playing? What's the best place for the sand box? Where do tubes get used and maybe not used? Anything that should or shouldn't be next to something else?
Thanks for your cage builds. We used them to build a home for our gerbils and now they are very happy with the large burrow area and the upper levels for plenty of running.
You have got to be proud of this! I want to build similar in future because after my experiences of watching over 3 (separately) free-roaminlg Syrian hams I just can't take it anymore!!! This would be a fantastic and cheaper in the long run alternative. Thank you, for everything you do! And V R!

Fantastic job on this enclosure, I absolutely love it and I bet the new hamster does too(what a cutie)! You're so incredibly talented!! Can't wait to see footage of the hamster hanging out in the enclosure if you share any, and I bet the burrows are going to be amazing!
So much anticipation while watching until the reveal of the complete setup…loved that! The enclosure is so full of enrichment for the hamster. Your time and talent is evident in the features. One complaint….dying for more screen time starring your new hammie and a name reveal! 😉

I absolutely love how this cage turned out! I watched a couple videos on how you made some of these DIY's and wow, I can see how clearly you love your hammy and all the effort you put into this! I'm sure that the hamster that's going to live in here would be so happy!
My roborovski hamster his name is Alan he lived in a small pet shop cage and after a week I felt so cruel, today he has moved into the ikea detolf and is absolutely loving life x
I agree with most of the posts that an informal tour of the enclosure while we watch the new resident explore should be your next Vlog. Love the end results. I just lost my Peaches, so her tank is currently empty. Her daughter was exploring the hides and tunnels sitting next to the tank during her floor time. Not sure when I will get a new resident for Peach's tank.

with a router or dado blade on a table saw you could have run three grooves into the wood. I would have used plexiglass. You could insert easily from the top and remove it easily for easier cleaning.
Sadly I can't afford a router or table saw so that just wasn't an option, otherwise it would have made a lot of sense to do it that way. As for plexiglass, I've used it in the past and decided that I hate it for enclosures. While it's cheaper and easier to handle, it scratches up far too easily and doesn't look as nice after a year or two of use. Glass looks nicer and is more durable for hamster homes, in my opinion :)
I really love the end result of the cage. It's a lot of work and time. I wouldn't have the patience to do it. I can't wait to see a hamster in it.☺❤👍👏🐹
