To be fair it didn't really exist back then 😅 Me, Victoria & HoppingHammy all started around the same time (2011) and were the biggest channels in the community. I love that there are so many more hamster channels now, especially more of the ones spreading good care practices out into the world 😊

Not yet, I've used it in all my cages for the last 8(ish?) years and nobody has shown any interest in chewing or removing it so far :)

Her enclosure's downstairs. We had to move it out of this room when the leak happened but because of the size and weight it isn't possible to move it back without emptying, dismantling and rebuilding so it's staying downstairs :)

I make no complaints 🙅🏻‍♀️. But I was hoping you made the same fancy lid for lemonades cage for this one. -Only because I have a “double Kallax 30 3/8x57 7/8 (inches) “ no stand. I’ve been wanting to make that kid & a wooden cage!!! You’ve made just the wooden part that I would have. But I’m afraid it wouldn’t withstand the weight. Especially after the glass substrate & furniture that will be solid wood as well just like the cage. -Does having the stand make it easier to hold the weight & not buckle? My Manuel didn’t have the weight bearing limits of the Kallax.
