So happy for you Sandy, I did the same thing after my husband died went on dating site at 60 met the love of my life both our souses died within weeks and we were married within 6 months. Love of my life we have now been married 10 years I’m 70 he’s 72. Never been so happy he says same thing.

I met the love of my life also on a dating site. He lived about 100 miles from me, I asked him if it was too far for us to meet and he drove to meet me at a restaurant.The rest is history. We are both in our late 60s and we will be married almost a year now.

I love you two together. It was meant to be. My mother-in-law Marie was married 40 years when she lost my husband's father to cancer. She always told me she loved being a wife, having someone to care for. Shortly thereafter mutual friends reintroduced her to Ralph, a man she'd met socially years before. This was over 3 decades ago. I remember she called my husband the day they were to go on their first date so nervous and asking for advice, since she hadn't been on a date for decades. Family lore is that Marie reported "He (Ralph) 'got fresh'! 😉 Fast forward, Marie and Ralph married and were great together for almost 30 years. Both passed in their 90's, with much history together happier than they ever were before. Now their together in Heaven and I'm sure still having a blast. So Mazel Tov to you two! Much happiness!
