@wwhn oh lovvveeee I just finished the reaction and you broke my heart all over again. Thought I could get through it without crying, but your reaction was exactly me on Sunday 😭😭😭 devastated
lol thank you for having the same reaction I did.. I needed to know I wasn't the only one. When she said she would meet Cole I started crying.. couldn't even watch it the first time around 💔
Hahaha I feel you, I loved the episode but seeing Meleys die was heartbreaking. Her looking back at Rhaenys, I couldn't help but remember all the pets I had along my life and their passing. RIP The red queen
Fun fact: Vhagar and Meleys have some shared history. The two were once ridden by the married couple, Prince Baelon Targaryen and Princess Alyssa Targaryen (Daemon and Viserys' parents, Rhaenys' uncle and aunt). Therefore the two likely flew around together a lot given how much both liked to ride their dragons, particularly Alyssa. Baelon was also best friends with his older brother, Prince Aemon (Rhaenys's father, who rode Caraxes); after Aemon was killed, Baelon used Vhagar to avenge his death fighting Myrish pirates. So to see these two dragons, who once flew side by side, and with Rhaenys fighting the dragon of both the uncle who avenged her father's death and her daughter, tearing each other apart before Meleys is finally killed by her former comrade, all so that Aemond (Baelon's grandson), can defeat his cousin Rhaenys (Aemon's only daughter) further highlights the tragedy of this war, where not only do the humans of House Targaryen turn upon their family, but the dragons as well.
Mannnn your tears are so real! I boohoo’d so hard I couldn’t breathe. Rest well the Red Queen and the Queen Who Never Was/the Queen Who Should’ve Been 😭🥺💔
I never thought I’d cry for a cgi dragon 🐉 😂😢, but how the show presented Meleys looking back at Rhaenys during her final moment killed me. RIP Red Queen 👑 ❤
Rhaenyra's council be doing wayyy too much, they have no respect.🤦🏾♀ As soon as I saw Vhagar, I knew it was Rhaenys' time to go. That scene had me tearing up! 😭 Your reactions when the dragons were fighting were the same as mine, I was screaming at the screen. 😅 Thanks for another great video, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.
I had the nerve to watch this episode at work. I COULD NOT function after this episode. Now I’m watching this reaction and now I’m sad all over again. Sending virtual hugs to you and the comment section!! #LongLiveRhaenys
Aw I would have melted at work 😭 the way my friends thought a family member died I was crying so hard lol and I can only imagine being at work 😩 and sending hugs back at you babbyyy 🫶🏾🤍
I sending you a mental hug. We all need solace during this tragic time. My father burst into my room concerned from all my cries of distress and protest. "No Rhaenys don't go back!!" How does Aemond's giant dragon always manage to sneak up on people!??!
I just wanted to hug you when watching this cause I went thru this when I watched too. Just bawling my eyes out. This episode was A LOT. Truly appreciate your vulnerability when reviewing these shows. ❤❤❤❤
I also got spoiled the same way you did, had same reaction either way. For next episodes i for sure will stay off internet completely untill having watched the episode because those HOTD book reader spoilers are ruthless..
You crying just brought me back to when I watched this and I legit had to go in the bathroom to take some time. She is a true queen and warrior in my eyes.
It's so sad bcuz these dragons are like ancient relics that defined an entire house and they are using them like toys ): Sadly rhaenys' job was to protect the castle & if she left, she would have failed ): It would have still been more logical to go back to dragon stone for backup because she knows aegon is not in kings landing and is very vulnerable. Vhagar is an artifact considering she also lead in the conquest. Killing aemond would free vhagar//give a chance for someone to claim her
The problem with sending another dragon with Meleys is that they're either riderless, too small and not battle experienced. Plus, they would risk losing 2 dragons instead of 1. However, if Daemon were there, then yes, send 2, but he wasn't.
Rhaenys couldn't leave, she was the only defense that Rhaenyra could send to Rook's Rest. Daemon is MIA, not responding to messages. At this point, she has no army, and no other available dragons with battle experience. If Rhaenys fled, she would hand the Greens the victory, Dragonstone would be cut off by land and Rhaenyra's supporters at Rook's Rest would have been completely abandoned. She had to keep fighting, and try to take out their dragons if possible. She died a true warrior, dragon rider, and Targaryen - the queen who never was, but should have been.
I have spent the last three days watching reaction videos to this and there is literally not one reactor who does not love Rhaenys and Maelys. OK, Sunfyre's screams grab you by the heart, but that last look between those two Queens was literally the end for me. And for you, too, it seems. Great reaction. Can't wait for the next one.
The amount of black TikTok's that gave QUEEN RHAENYS a good going home service was something else. "We sent her home real nice" 😅❤ It might make you feel a little better. R.I.P to the Queen and Meleys 😢
Mannnnnnnnn I was sobbing too! I literally had to walk away. My dog was tryna calm me down I was just a god damn mess. Even when I woke up, I cried. She was my favorite. I hate this show. Idk why I do this to myself
Literallyyyyy😭 imagine me editing this and having to watch myself sob and sobbing AGAIN! This week I’ve literally felt I’ve been grieving a family member 😭 but we’re in for a lot of grief so I’ve heard and im not ready
I feel you.... was crying too.... the Look between them before they died. Rhaenys und Meleys are my favourite of the show..... she choose a Dragonriders death and she fought not one but two dragons.... and hurt Vhagar.... Rhaenys was the most experienced in fighting and did some really goid moves to hurt that old Lady. I don't know how many dragons are needed to put Vhagar down.... maybe Daemon has a chance with that big old dragon he sang to in season one... did forget the name.... I hope we will see that..... You just can not win over Vhagar at the moment.... all the other dragons are to small......
They may not have won in the end but Our Queens, Rhaenys and Meleys, took the great Vhagar to the ground. Maybe if it had been 1 on 1 from the beginning, Rhaenys and Meleys may have been able to take Vhagar.
That’s what I was saying!! But I think she felt guilty by letting them get away the first time and she wanted to see it through this time! And that council is done without Rhaenys there to check them 😭😭
Friend I wish I couold've given you a hug. I cried for your reaction more than I did for the scene. I hope her death brings awareness to Damon and Rhaenys' husband that they need to take action and stop playin. But overall great episode but Team Black needs a win; too much loses has occurred on their side.
The only way he could kill her was BY SNEAKING HER ❤ that dragon to big to be SNEAKING SOMEBODY A TRUE QUEEN BUT SHE WAS BRAVE AND DIDNT ABANDON THOSE PEOPLE
@@wwhnYeah. Sunfyre isn't a very experienced fighter and is afraid and shrieking in pain and fear. It hits harder when earlier we see Aegon's bond with Sunfyre and how he is happy to see him, making it appear that Sunfyre isn't just a mount or a weapon to him. he's Aegon's only friend.
Aegon is a victim of his parents or more specifically lack of parenting. He was never raised to be a King. Rhaenyra was. He is flailing and not able to cope with this. He has no one to support him. No one. This is his tragedy.
Seeing it is sooo much worse than reading it! Ooooooh Laaaaawd! We're about to be going through it for a while! The dance is ON ON! and ALL them chapters are called "The Dying of the Dragons" 🫠❤️🩹🫨
