@@Nolimit_Akon so at the time I was 220 6’1 and I’m 15 now I’m 206 same height and age I gained like 4/5 inches so I went from touching rim to getting a rimgrazers on a good run up
how woud you suggest incorporating this in with regular scheduled leg training. does this cause a lot of muscle fatigue where it would affect training legs the next day?
6ft tall 6ft wingspan, I could grab the rim 6 months ago but i havent been able to play basketball during winter so im less bouncy now. I'm coming back to this when I dunk. Feel free to respond to this comment to remind me!
Hey what will happed if i do more reps in a set? Because i dont feel my leg much cause i did plyo workout but not this one. So can i increase reps in these sets?
i'm 5'7 can't tap the board of a regular basketball ring. i'm going to start today and do this 2x per week. i'll be back 8 august to give you guys an update. thabks
@@lifewish.stupid advice right here, never train plyometrics 4 times a week, your CNS gets fatigued everytime you do plyometrics, at most train it twice a week for best results.
@@thedreaminghooper Nah you can't gemeralise that. Everybody can handle a different amount of training volume. Try 4 a week, if you notice your mood and motivation shift, you know it's too much. It's the same with regular gym workouts.
Bro I’ve been doing your plyos for 2 days 5 of them a day (idk if that’s ok or not but I don’t like my friends make it fun of me for having a short vertical)
Plyometrics is a waste of time and it's dangerous because you are accumulating stress on your joints. There is no special formula to jumping higher. You just need to get your legs stronger through resistance training, and then practice the specific type of jump you are trying to get better at.
i increase my jump 3 inches in one month by doing plyometrics. Ya it is dangerous for your joints if you don't do STRETCHING AND WARMUPS before that. And you said what??!!! "There is no specific formula to jump higher???!!! Bro that means you didn't even do plyometrics !! Like you didn't even try to do it and just sitting here and talking s@it
Yea they work but its a recipe for getting injured in the long term. If you want to learn how to dunk for example, just get your legs stronger, make sure you aren't carrying excess body weight and practice dunking until you get it. If you are a high jumper, hurdler, volleyball player or whatever just practice those specific jumps. @@harshitkumar926
@indigosharp2615 listen I do weight training as well so that helped also but from just dunking slow and in a straight line now I can make transition running dunks and also I can make a river's dunk men bro next I hope to slam the ball with ease
no, and if you believe the myth that general weight training aka going to the gym and doing strength workouts will they do not. i promise you I have done a decent about of research on this so i recommend forgetting this question and dont ask it again but if you do want to believe that myth just know it doesnt contain plyometrics and leg training is perfectly fine
Bro 30 inch 😂 not too bad for the average Joe but under for any d1 athlete but I’ll tell you it’s hard to go d1 you really have to be gifted or work your ass off
